Info
The canvas was designed by Eezu and lengthened and slightly modified by Vanilla.
The size of the canvas was 1052x1590 and and 1,500,048 of the 1,672,680 total pixels were placeable. (89.7%)
An interactive version of this canvas showing the names of factions and where they were located can be found here.
More detailed info such as a pixel activity timelapse, the final virginmap, and more can be found on the official pxls.space archives.
Major Events
- Executive Dispute: Vanilla, the previous owner of pxls.space, used executive powers to ban a group of people who made a Kekistan flag due to the origins of the flag's design. This mass-ban, and more specifically the use of executive powers that it represented, caused the resignation of most members of the Pxls staff in protest. Vanilla ended up backing down and renouncing her executive privileges along with handing ownership of the Pxls Discord server over to Nanineye, with all staff members except for Sen_Ruoka and dani26795 returning to their positions shortly after. Sen_Ruoka later ended up rejoining the staff team during canvas 70.
- Schizo Continuation War: Repercussions from the Schizo War continued into this canvas, though the continuation conflict had diminished in scope compared to Canvas 63. The Margraviate of Solvernia was griefed by notEnough and temporarily by Caxap. The Margraviate of Solvernia was aided by many volunteers, allowing the small faction to weather the griefs without much difficulty.
- Second Flandre Opcellog: Cell Lattice made a return later into the canvas (under the name "New Cells"), initially going entirely unopposed despite cells being actively hunted down and destroyed on previous canvases. Lana initiated an attack with the support of many Flandre members a day before reset, saying that Cell Lattice was a relic of old Pxls and looked bad, resulting in Cell Lattice being completely destroyed at reset. The name "Second Flandre Opcellog" is derived by an attack on a Skinny Cells lattice on canvas 61, which had been jokingly nicknamed the "Flandre Opcellog", a reference to the First and Second Opcellogs carried out by the Chromatic Empire on canvases 58 and 59.
Minor Events
- Continuation of the Errata Wars: Fighting from the Errata Wars continued into this canvas, with Flandre destroying all art made by the Trollge Confederacy member Hilderos along with destroying an emoticon made by the Noeliste member virevoltant64. The peepy art that replaced Hilderos' Boiler Room art was attacked repeatedly by a new user that called peepy a "Furby ripoff".
- Zim Continuation War: Zim Art antagonized the Chromatic Empire at the beginning of the canvas, intentionally placing their template over the Empire's claimed territory. The overlapping Zim template was ignored for several days before being suddenly overrun by an imperial operation. Zim Art's lattice, along with a small art piece located between the legs of the knight, were ignored by the Chromatic Empire and consequently survived until the canvas reset. Multiple members of Zim Art, most notably Ceadog, griefed the Chromatic Empire's knight template throughout the canvas.
- Temporary Banning of Brot: Schizophrenia member Brot was permanently banned in the early days of the canvas due to the Pxls staff's belief that he had been using a bot. He proved his innocence and was unbanned a little over a day later.
- ManePxls Raids: Flandre leader Fruity attacked ManePxls with the support of a handful of volunteers due to her dislike for EpicVon. The raiders griefed ManePxls for a few days until Fruity took a break from Pxls, resulting in the de facto conclusion of the conflict.
- Attack on Roger's: Lana attacked the Breaking Art template built by Roger's art due to her finding the art extremely ugly. This attack resulted in intervention by the Chromatic Empire, whose members and Kanji and Temriel completely redesigned the Roger's template and resolved the conflict.
- Blue Corner Raid: HentaiLover attacked the Knights of the Blue Corner shortly before reset, covering much of their territory with a light teal void. The Chromatic Empire intervened both on canvas and through diplomacy, resulting in the establishment of a new border that confirmed the loss of more than half of KoTBC's territory. The Blue Corner builders were agreeable to this compromise because the territories attacked by HentaiLover had not been officially built by their faction.
- Crash Machine Conflicts: The Crash Machine Conflicts were three small conflicts relating to the Etos Crash Machine less than a day before reset. The first conflict was a small attack on Grayscale Pxls by Mcdoodlydoo due to Grayscale member Ryeam intentionally messing with him on the Crash Machine. The second conflict was an attack led by LenEnjoyer in an attempt to convert it into the LenEnjoyer Crash Machine, which she stopped after the realization that it could hurt the beloved Mikuddy. The third conflict was a raid on Pxls Art Enjoyers by Mcdoodlydoo and a few Flandre members due to Revenge666 repeatedly griefing the outline around the target pixel.
