Big factions are factions that have or have had a great deal of pixel placed artwork on the canvas. These are some of the all time most influential or powerful factions. Factions that are built only by one person are not considered "big factions." Factions that display a large amount of influence on the canvas are considered a "big faction."
Faction List
League of Factions
League of Factions is a faction entirely based on unifying the Pxls community and protecting artwork from greater threats. This can mean the trollface league attacking Pride Faction or defending the Ravenclaw shield from 2ch.
Legion
Legion was considered the biggest faction with the most firepower for several years. Their Discord is mostly built around the idea of the Roman Empire. They are considered a neutral faction with no intention of damaging other's artworks unless in retaliation.
YOIB
YOIB was created (at first) as an anti-void faction, but evolved over time to the faction we know and love. YOIB is mostly built around the idea of using a singular color and building artworks with that color. They are generally neutral in canvas politics but are known to raid flags and arts of users they don't like.
Pink Gang
Pink Gang is similar to YOIB, but their artwork was mostly built around the idea of the color pink and making mostly anime girls and cutesy art. They are a very neutral faction.
ManePxls
Mane is one of the oldest factions still active on site. It grew over time into one of the largest and most powerful factions.

2ch is a faction that originates from the Russian website 2chan. They mostly make art themed around their website (mostly Yoba) or anime girl artworks.
The Chromatic Empire
The Chromatic Empire is a mega-faction that brought together The Purple Empire, Orange Gang, The Navy Blue Grand Monarchy, Green Gang, and The Teal Kingdom. It achieved the feat of being the faction with the most all time pixels placed.
