Big factions

Big factions are factions that have a great deal of pixel placed artwork on the canvas. Factions that are built only by one person are not considered "big factions." Factions that display a good amount of influence on the canvas are considered a "big faction."

Historical Big Factions

League of Factions

League of Factions was a defensive alliance entirely based on unifying the pxls community and protecting artwork from greater threats. This can mean either the trollface league attacking Pride Faction or the 2ch–LOF Wars.

Legion

Legion was considered the biggest faction with the most manpower from the C30s to the early C60s. Their Discord is mostly built around the idea of the Roman Empire and Fallout. Examples of their strength include their invasion of C43a and their ability to compete with 2ch during the Corner War.

YOIB

YOIB was created (at first) as an anti-void faction, but evolved over time to become the faction remembered today. YOIB was built around the idea of using a singular color and building artworks with that color. The most remarkable part of YOIB was its advanced operation system, which incentivized massive amounts of placing.

Pink Gang

Pink Gang was similar to YOIB, but their artwork was mostly built around the color pink and making mostly anime girls and cutesy art. They were a very neutral faction with a good reputation in the community. This helped cause Pink Gang to still be the biggest faction on the leaderboard years after Pink Gang shut down.

2ch

2ch was a faction that originated from the Russian website 2chan. They mostly made art themed around their website (mostly Yoba) or anime girl artworks.

The Chromatic Empire

The Chromatic Empire was a mega-faction that brought together The Purple Empire, Orange Gang, The Navy Blue Grand Monarchy, Green Gang, and The Teal Kingdom.
