The Yellow Line is a one-man small faction that makes a 1 pixel wide yellow line from one end of the canvas to the other, usually alongside art that features the color yellow. It was formed by ntcolonthree on Canvas 88a after he joined pxls.space from Neuro-sama's Swarm's mass recruitment in the Neuro-sama Headquarters Discord server during the Legion invasion of Canvas 88a.
History
Canvas 88a
During this canvas, The faction made its first line at the frontline of the Legion-Swarm war during the Legion invasion of Canvas 88a over both factions' pre-existing lattice. The line was subsequently repeatedly destroyed and rebuilt until achieving a line stretching both vertically and horizontally across a significant portion of the top part of the canvas. The horizontal portion of this line was later destroyed in place for the post-war collab art.
Later on, the faction made a vertical yellow line stretching from the top to the bottom of the placable part of the canvas, except for segments that would've crossed over Legion's lattice. This was done with the help of some members of Neuro-sama's Swarm, notably Chirps. The line was placed over the lattices of Green Lattice, Legion, ManePxls, and Swarm. A rectangular sign saying "WE 💜 YELLOW LINE" was made in Swarm's lattice adjacent to the line as well as another sign with cat ears on top of it saying "THE YELLOW LINE" that served as the logo for the faction.
Canvas 89
During this canvas, the faction made a rectangular sign saying "YELLOW LINE 2" and a horizontal yellow line stretching from the right to the left of the canvas, it passed through the lattices and backgrounds of purp13 and Neuro-sama's Swarm, the faction also placed the sprite of Yellow (Lightning Strikes Thrice) from Horse Race Tests.
A second yellow line was made near the Fairy Tail Guild's art and a third yellow line was made above the Cell Lattice and under ManePxls' lattice, it had transitions with both lattices. Both of these lines were made semi-independently from the faction with support from ntcolonthree.
Canvas 90
During this canvas, the faction made art of a Neuro-sama plush with a pizza, a vertical and a horizontal yellow line. The vertical yellow line stretched from the top of the canvas to the bottom, the line passed through the lattices of Green Lattice, SwarMane, The Ember Void, and The Purple Empire, as well as DragonM97's Basil background and quildtide's "Eyesore Lattice", roadsigns were made along the vertical line. The horizontal yellow line stretched from the left of the canvas to the right, with the exception of most areas over Green Lattice, the line passed through the lattices and backgrounds of Green Lattice, osu! Logo Builders, Pixelstuck, and SwarMane, as well as DragonM97's background and Jagoner's lattice.
Canvas 91
During this canvas, the faction made a defiddled version of the pictures on the infobox of the Wikipedia page for Yellow and a horizontal yellow line stretching from the left of the canvas to the right, the line passed through the lattices and backgrounds of Cell Lattice, KittyHood, Lumina, Neuro-sama's Swarm, and The Purple Void, the line was integrated into KittyHood's alignment chart.
Canvas 92
During this canvas, the faction made art of a Neuro-sama plush with a plate of fish and chips, an ego piece celebrating ntcolonthree reaching 100,000 all-time pixels placed, and a yellow line. This yellow line began at the left side of the canvas then turned upwards to avoid the core territory of the collab between The Purple Empire and Green Lattice (TPExGL), and stretched to the top of the canvas. The line passed through the lattices and backgrounds of Cell Lattice, Darkhood, Grayscale Pxls, The Ember Empire, TPExGL, ManePxls, Navy Blue Grand Monarchy (NBGM), Neuro's Precious osu! market, Pixelstuck, and Void, as well as DragonM97's background art.
When it was first placed, the yellow line initially crossed the core territory of the TPExGL collaboration, but was later adjusted to avoid the area. This canvas marks the first time one of the faction's lines does not follow a single, straight path.
On the 7 August 2025, 24 days after the canvas began, two new users began placing a red line 38 pixels below the yellow line. They described the yellow line as their "enemy". 2 days later, one of these users was banned for multi-accounting, and their pixels were removed from the canvas. The only remnant of this attempted line is a 140 pixel-long stretch of red pixels located at NBGM's background to the left of the bean dog, and to the right of Mauz and Zinzamoure's artwork.
