The 2ch-LOF War of Canvas 46 was a significant conflict fought by 2ch and its allies and supporters. The initial target was Pride Faction, which was then defended by the League of Factions. Following these battles, 2ch began to target volunteer supporters of Pride, official allies and LOF members, drawing more and more groups into the conflict. A major front of the war was the Honey Pickle War, fought in Hive's territory.

Background

2ch had long targeted Pride Faction since Canvas 41, during conflicts such as the Troll Face War, 2ch Pride Raids, and C43 War. Furthermore, by Canvas 46, 2ch was becoming somewhat restless after a long period of time between their last war. The justification for the war would come due to Mikarific's comments in Pxls chat that were described as offensive to Russian culture.

Shortly after this, 2ch attacked the Pride Faction template. Some 2chers began to demand for Mikarific to be demoted.

Timeline

Contained war

After 2ch's initial attack on Pride Faction's template on 9 May, the League of Factions made a counterattack before 2ch completed their art and rebuilt Pride. However, 2ch attacked again. A second LOF counterattack was made but was unsuccessful. After this, 2ch began making a yoba lattice and tomatoes. The LOF shifted towards slowing down 2ch's expansion and protecting innocent factions. Groups such as Hui, Veil, and the Pxls Refugees heavily supported 2ch during the conflict. The Trollge Confederacy broke their neutrality pact with the LOF to fight alongside 2ch, creating a trollge template near the war zone. Also during this phase, Legion demanded reform of the Pxls moderation system, leading to Mikarific's temporary suspension as Pxls moderator.

Wider conflicts

2ch began invading nearby arts and factions who supported Pride Faction, especially LOF members. The first target was Hive, starting the major Honey Pickle War that ran concurrently along with the greater war. Another area that saw significant 2ch-LOF fighting was Changed Pxls and nearby solo arts. 2ch also destroyed Grayscale Pxls and made several attempts to destroy Gura's Supermarket. 2ch began actively approaching factions to secure their neutrality and prevent their being outnumbered. The Helpers were covered and formed a separate peace with 2ch during this time. Similarly, Sans Fan Club pre-emptively agreed to a separate peace with 2ch. As the Honey Pickle War continued, the LOF began to use its LOF Reserve Forces on a scale close to that of the C43 War.

End of the war

Towards the end of the canvas, the primary focus of the conflict was the ongoing Honey Pickle War, which would see both sides committing large numbers of players to gain the upper hand. The LOF made several successful offensives in the area to prevent 2ch's progression in other locations, particularly Gura's Supermarket and 1's ego. 2ch began to expect late-night activities by the LOF, setting up a night shift; however, this subgroup was overpowered on most occasions. Towards the conclusion of the war, YOIB became more involved, supporting 2ch's attacks on 1's ego as well as their covering of M2's ego (The Helpers). This phase of the war saw some griefing on 2ch's main templates, particularly by No.Free.Pxls, but these attacks were largely reverted by Dani's Bizarre Adventures shortly after occurring. At the very final stages of the war, 2ch invaded Musical Pxls for their support of Pride Faction, but the LOF was able to largely fight back the attack by the time of the reset. Despite this, 2ch had achieved victories in many fronts of the war and occupied a significant portion of the canvas. By the end of the war, both 2ch and LOF had seen a significant surge in manpower.

Aftermath

Aftershocks of the war were felt on the following canvas, during the Corner War and "Parting Gift" raid against Pride Faction. 2ch would ultimately be nuked on Canvas 47 for multiple violations of site rules.
