The First Siege of Trollge was a war that took place on Canvas 45 between a coalition of factions and the Trollge Confederacy. It was orchestrated by pineApple, who wanted to destroy the aggressive Confederacy in order to prevent a war on the scale of the Troll Face War of Canvas 41. He convinced Inverted Anarchist to declare war on the Trollge Confederacy in retaliation for previous griefing on Inverted artwork by some of their members, and also brought the Navy Blue Grand Monarchy and Pride Faction into the war.
Anti-Trollge forces included the Navy Blue Grand Monarchy, Inverted Anarchist, Pride Faction, Manyland Military, Hattice, Sans Fan Club and Lois is Travis. The pro-Trollge forces consisted of the Trollge Confederacy, remnants of The Trollface Coalition, and several volunteers, particularly from the Pxls Refugees. Trollge was tepidly supported by the Confederacy of United Pxls.
The Siege was fought over two fronts: the northern Trollge templates and the southern Trollge. The large factions of the attacking coalition oversaw the northern front, while smaller groups like Hattice and the Manyland Military handled the southern front.
The First Siege of Trollge was a decisive success for the anti-Trollge side. When the Confederacy attempted to relocate and griefed other factions, a Second Siege of Trollge was organized.
Pre-History
Canvas 41 - Trollface Wars
During C41, there were battles between League of Factions and the Trollface Coalition. These wars were heavily fought over pride artwork with the Trollface Coalition's soul target to destroy pride artwork.
While a Trollface coalition defeat, the battles and wars pathed the way to describing the characteristics of the "Trollfacers" as Toxic and Anti-pride.
These wars heavily scarred the people of pxls.space as they severally disliked the actions made during the wars.
Canvas 45 - Revival
After 4 canvases later (C42, C43, C43a, C44), an attempt was made to revive the Trollface Coalition under a new name called the "Trollge Confederacy." Unlike the previous Trollface Coalition, this revival contained different players and a different leader.
There was several problems with this revival including:
- None of the players were actually from the Trollface Coalition
- The leader had different views/beliefs than the entire faction (resulted in members attacking trans artwork and the leader being severally disliked by the community)
- Spying within inside (Based Pxls leaked some information)
The Trollge Confederacy first located themselves in a certain location which was also taken by another member within LoF. After some time, few factions within LoF got themselves involved and removed the Trollge Confederacy first original location. This resulted in them being located in a safe place.
Provoking the Tiger (Inverted and LoF)
On the other hand, Inverted saw zero interest in Trollge and prefered not getting involved. This neutrality between the factions didn't last long until someone from Trollge attacked Inverted on 03/15. As a result, Titeiiko went to Thiccslav (leader of Trollge) for a ceasefire. A ceasefire was created.
Then another firing occurred on 3/25. Unlike the previous conflict, this time more of Trollge Confederacy "elite" members fired a stronger attack on Inverted. Unlike the previous request to ceasefire, Thiccslav ignored Titeiiko's request for a ceasefire claiming he had "better things in his life." Thus pissing off Inverted as a whole.
For LoF. Around 3/23-3/26, the Trollge Confederacy ended up attacking a LoF faction's artwork. This resulted in LoF firing a counter-defense operation on 3/27 to undo this damages they caused. This plan end up resulting in a success and ignited the fuse for LoF involvement (especially Pride Faction).
Preparations
Coalition formed
Due to the strong connections the faction has with several outside factions. Titeiiko managed to convinces several factions to join like:
- H-lattice (The faction dislike their hostility and the artwork made near their lattice. Leader had close connections to Titeiiko)
- Manyland Military (The creator "Isaaccool" became good friends with Titeiiko and after discussing about the war: the owner end up creating "Manyland Military" faction)
- Sans Fan Club (The leader was inside Inverted. He was convinced that the war was an easy victory and sided with Tite)
- Cloud Corner (Strong alliance with Inverted)
- ManePxls (Agreement: Inverted finishes their artwork in return of their support)
- Crimson Dawn (Defensive Pact made from previous canvas)
A majority of these factions had the same beliefs and ideals against Trollge; believed that the faction was made to target Pride artwork and continue the previous Trollface coalition. While some joined because they were closer to Titeiiko than they were to Trollge.
Course of the Siege
The Steamrolling
On 10am (via 03/28) Inverted unleashed hell on Trollge Confederacy and managed to completely steamroll the first part of the war. Around one hour later, the first main artwork was completed.
Trollge wasn't prepared for an attack like this. In addition, a majority of their members wasn't even fighting nor realized an attack happened.
Attacking forces split up
After the success and barely any resistance of the first hour of the war. The forces end up splitting up to target several artwork. Inverted splitted up to two forces (where certain factions joined certain forces) while a few factions attacked outside of the war. (H-lattice attacking the Southern Trollge Artwork)
Pushing the Trollge
While most of Trollge wasn't even ready to fight nor was interested. A few members from the previous Trollface Coalition managed to get involved and supported the side of the Trollge Confederacy. This involvement managed to make the second part of the war a bit longer to be completed but the victory was still on the side of Inverted as the community started joining on the side of Inverted.
"Blue Beauty" Operation
After the completion of all the artwork and the so far defense, Inverted (with a few other factions) decided to completely cover the remainders of the trollge artwork in blue using NGBM's lattice. Thus resulted in a completely Inverted victory.
The Southern Campaign (Hattice)
After the plan to split up, H-lattice end up striking the minor trollge artwork near their lattice to create a diversion. This "diversion" resulted in some counter push. After some time has past, Manyland Military came to assist H-Lattice in the minor campaign which resulted in a victory.
Analysis
Confederacy of United Pxls Involvement
COUP had zero awareness of the war until 7 hours later. COUP (at first) disliked this action and believed Inverted should be punished. After some discussion, the leader of COUP re-made his decision and claimed that the Trollge's actions were inappropriate.
