Darkhood is a YOIB styled artwork and background faction created on canvas 75. It was at the height of its power from canvas 76 to canvas 82

History

Canvas 75

The Darkhood name was used as the template title by Xscape and Universe for their art and background prior to the official start of the faction.

The background color for this canvas was Rust.

Darkhood's final size at the end of this canvas was 9,247 pixels, which was about 0.4% of the canvas.

Darkhood was founded by Dudemanguybruh, SkrillyD, Universe, PJG and Xscape on this canvas. It was founded with an intention of it being a successor to YOIB, albeit with less toxicity. The faction was noted by some users for being surprisingly fast for its first official canvas. Darkhood would participate in various conflicts this canvas such as a border conflict with RVRB, a raid on Charlie Zone, and assisting GSm with the Battle of the Cap.

The background color for this canvas was Lime.

Darkhood's final size at the end of this canvas was 141,651 pixels, which was about 7.0% of the canvas.

Canvas 77

Darkhood would begin the canvas collaborating with Red Army, Schizophrenia, and Bag Nation. It would continue its fast pace from the preceding canvas, but it would also continue its capacity for war by starting background claim conflicts with osu!, Manepxls, and raiding H Lattice, Charlie Zone, and a KRTOG x FPU collab. The latter of which would spark a counter raid after one of Darkhood's allies, Issacool, was banned for botting. It was helped by H Lattice, Charlie Zone, and several volunteers.

Canvas 78

Darkhood was completely obliterated in the War of the Magenta Coalition.

This would be the only Darkhood template to survive to the end of canvas until C80. Two of the arts this canvas was modified to contain cat ears to fit in with nearby arts.

Canvas 79

At the end of the canvas, Darkhood was attacked again in a pseudo-continuation of the War of the Magenta Coalition. with the main Darkhood area being entirely removed by the raid group Lighthood, with help from many Magenta Coalition members, and by osu! after the template was posted in their server with a ping from DiMine. It was later discovered that the negotiated non-aggression pact that was supervised by the Chromatic Empire was done in bad faith, with MC and ChE leaders Revenge666 and pineApple (Liam). Due to this bad faith negotiation, Darkhood did not receive any help when raided by Lighthood.

Darkhood had a collab with Gura's Supermarket (GSm). GSm would assist DH with helperations this canvas, notably helping Schizo, filipus098 and Mogi. At the end of the canvas, the collab launched a combined raid on a farm intending to turn the entire thing azure, however the plans would later change to simply maintain the status quo after a grass field was drawn.

Dudemanguybruh & Lava123Z555 provided custom art (the invite art and background filler respectively) to DH this canvas.
