DiMine is a current template manager for osuplace.
History
Pre-Pxls
DiMine first found out about pixel canvases from r/place 2022, learning about it from the r/osugame subreddit and then going to r/osuplace and the osuplace discord. After the event DiMine wanted to continue placing pixels, and so proceeded to do absolutely nothing and forgot about pixel canvases.
In July 2023, CdawgVA hosted a pxls.space instance which DiMine learned of through Neuro-sama and joined as part of The Swarm (Neuro's faction). He created almost no solo art, instead placing for Neuro-sama and Anny and defending the osu! logo whenever it was attacked.
Two days later, r/place 2023 was announced. DiMine once again joined as part of osuplace and placed 996 pixels, reaching the top 15 verified osuplace placers. At some point during this, he joined the @pxls role. After this, he once again did nothing to seek out other pixel canvases.
On August 7th 2023 at 18:29 UTC, osuplace architect emi (at the time the main template manager for pxls-related activities) pinged the @pxls role in the discord, at which point DiMine decided to make a pxls account and place pixels.
