A distributed denial of service attack had taken down Pxls intermittently from Sunday, April 3rd, to Thursday, April 7th. Mounting speculation and theories have been thrown around, such as xQc fans, Reddit, 4chan, or 2ch being involved due to the revival of r/place on April 1st of 2022.
