Grayscale Pxls is a faction that creates art using only the grayscale colors on the Pxls palette (with a couple exceptions over time). This faction builds highly detailed art and on some canvases this faction takes on a challenge of only using 2 of the grays (mostly black and white) to keep things fresh. It was also a vassal of the Chromatic Empire; in that capacity, it was known as the Principality of Grayscale Pxls.
History
Grayscale was founded on canvas 33 by user "drake" or other known as koro on discord. This faction has made various arts ranging from 7k pixels to a three way Collab with tnt, Pixel Zoo and skelly gang just over 138 thousand pixels.
On c46 Grayscale could not get their original template placed due to a claim conflict with YOIB. They successfully made a template of Felix (from Re:Zero) elsewhere, but it way nuked by 2ch later in the canvas.
On c50 drake took a break from running the faction for some time, and other people came to continue it in his absence.
Grayscale was part of the Fish Collab on c57.
Grayscale participated in the Rouge War on c62.
