Legion is a faction on Pxls.space, which creates art pieces inspired by the Legion from Fallout: New Vegas, the real-life Roman Empire, and videos of YouTuber Wycc220.
History
In 2017, the Russian social network VK launched a short-term analogue of Reddit /r/place. The community consisting of viewers of Wycc220 channel took part as Legion. One of VK Pixel Battle's features is a constant war over territory due to large number of participants and small amount of space. After those 3 days were over, some of legionnaries moved to Pxls Canvas 6. Formally, it was the predecessor faction for Legion's current iteration. The Legion, in its entirety, is a highly organized paramilitary structure with hierarchy inspired by the Roman legion. VK Pixel Battle has been consistetly relaunched in both 2018 and 2019, with the last one bringing a small portion of the Legion back to Pxls.
The history of current iteration starts on October 29, 2019, when several legions led by the chief artist of the Legion Molodoy#8805 announced themselves on Pxls.space on Canvas 28.
Canvas 6
Immediately after the end of the first PB, one of the legionnaires called the others to pxls. Despite the lack of a clear command and plan, the legion drew a series of artworks related to Wycc220. Legion left pxls without even waiting for a reset.
Canvas 28
After third VK's Pixel Battle, Legion started to build into the last third of the canvas. Having found a place with great difficulty, Legion depicted a number of small drawings, including the Antler drawing ([Bogorog] or Godhorn in russian version) and Legion's forepost.
Canvas 29
On this canvas, the Legion had more impact. Molodoy painted a large art depicting the eagle of the Legion, Legate Lanius, Vulpes Inculta and "The Respected Man".
At the beginning of the canvas, there was a conflict with Cozy Vault faction over territory, which ended in Legion moving east. In addition to the main drawings, "Legion-chan" art was created, New Vegas billboard captured by the Legion, an aquifer, "Maniac with an axe", "Bar-Forepost", as well as a carved stone depicting the identification numbers of legions from VK Pixel Battle from which the volunteers making up The Legion faction came from. On this canvas, Legion has an altercation with Cozy Vault over territory shortly after canvas started. There has also been a mellow, but prolonged conflict with builders of Finland flag.

Organization structure
HQ
The Legion has a structure similar to that of the Roman Legion, but adjusted for a small number of people.
- Legatus - Molodoy#8805. Leader of the Legion, art creator. Makes support for the current state of the template.
- Praefectus Castorum - Tyto alba#1100. Legate Assistant for Discord server, diplomacy and internal affairs.
- Tribunus - Snegovich#4997. Legate Assistant for military operations (military officer), diplomacy and internal affairs.
- Retired officers - Miror#5048 (military officer), rederik_#5587 (diplomat)
Legion Diplomatic Corps
"Greetings, Legion’s Diplomatic Corps is speaking."
- Founder and leader - Tyto alba#1100
- Senior diplomat - uhbyr1#6372
- Diplomat - Snegovich#4997, Wallhack#2569
First appeared on the 35th canvas, the LDC was the structure necessary to resolve the diplomatic issues of the Legion and other factions. LDC's debut was the peaceful resolution of the war between Veil and Simian Sculptors, in which the Legion was involuntarily drawn into.
The overly formal appeal of the LDC in the negotiations has become a meme.
Allies
Current
Unknown/None
Former
Conflicts
- First War Against Legion: Decimated Prog and French artwork after learning of a conspiracy by multiple factions to attack Legion on Canvas 34. The leader of Frog Village avoided destruction by publicly apologizing to Legion.
- Anglerfish War: Supported then-ally Veil with large numbers of placers in their claim conflict with Simian Sculptors on Canvas 35. Legion's contribution cemented the war into a long-running stalemate until they eventually mediated peace terms.
- MTG-Legion War: Battled Missing Texture Gang with their lattice on Canvas 35; later formed a "DMZ" which was honored until the canvas reset.
- Operation Sugma: Supported YOIB with large numbers in its defense of the ahegao girl template, which was being covered by Pride Faction and the LOF following the ahegao girl's covering of a Pride Faction template. Later mediated peace terms.
- Starry Night War: Invaded encroaching Starry Night Lattice in YOIB territory with the YOIB background.
Plus, a few other non-notable invasions and destructions of small factions (Pxls UN, Nutya).
