The Cell War of Canvas 54 was a major attack on Cell Lattice carried out by the Navy Blue Grand Monarchy, Trollge Confederacy, Gura's Supermarket and The Purple Empire.

Not to be confused with other attacks on Cell Lattice.

Background

The Trollge Confederacy became involved in war planning due to an incident that occurred early in the canvas.

A raid was attempted on the Navy Blue Grand Monarchy. The attack was unsuccessful and it pushed NGBM and Trollge's leadership into an alliance.

Both the coalition factions would contact many current and former Pxls players in an effort to strengthen their positions. However, the alliance attracted many more volunteers, contributing to Cell Lattice's overwhelming defeat when the attack finally came.

An attack on Cell Lattice was planned for Saturday (March 19th), but the Pxls staff's announcement of a canvas reset on Saturday afternoon ruined these plans. Thus, the operation was moved to Friday (March 18th).

Timeline

The war began on March 18th, 2022 at 6PM UTC exactly. NBGM and Trollge users poured onto the Cell Core, the template around which Cell Lattice was anchored. Simultaneously, users from Gura's Supermarket and The Purple Empire invaded CL's sizeable territory from other fronts. Capitulation of the Cell Core occurred in 1 hour, as the Alliance's overwhelming numerical superiority in the opening attack (47-7) dwarfed Cell Lattice's ability to defend. The alliance would also gain many chat volunteers, and many members of Cell Lattice simply stopped defending. The war was considered over by many participants after the first hour of fighting.

A concurrent battle would occur on a nearby pride flag which would progress slower due to Trollge members being the main contributors to the attack. The flag was relocated, resulting in a gradual reduction in defenders that allowed Trollge to quickly cover the area.

The surrounding cells were then filled with Navy Blue, Black, and GSM's sunflower lattice. The Purple Empire continued invading through a more remote area of Cell Lattice.

The NBGM and Trollge Confederacy agreed to end hostilities on the next canvas. This agreement was almost derailed when GreenCatKid mounted retaliatory griefs on the NBGM template on March 19th, but he eventually stopped. Super Army of Potatos (McGuff22) was elevated as an admin and neutral observer within the leadership of Cell Lattice. However, McGuff became inactive soon after this. It was not until the Opcellogs that Cell Lattice on the Pxls.space canvas was permanently expunged.

The war was also the first joint operation between the Trollge Confederacy and the NGBM. Many commented that it was very strange to see them working together.
