Before the start of this canvas, a contest was made for users to submit their own designs to be used as the initial canvas to celebrate the second anniversary of pxls.space.

After the submissions closed, the giant cake designed by Allet was chosen to be used as the canvas.
The size of the canvas is 1313x1313 and 1,423,498 of the 1,723,969 total pixels are placeable.
