Legion's Arena was a project built by Legion on every Pxls canvas from Canvas 49 to Canvas 52. The center of the arena was conceived as a place for users and factions to fight each other without consequences, as long as they avoided damaging the template of the arena itself.
The arena was the site of numerous conflicts. Legion stopped building arenas on Canvas 53, but brung it back on Canvas 58.

The first arena was occupied mostly by small-scale art projects and all forms of conflict manifested themselves in small territorial disputes. Some Pxls Roads artwork was built on this area, as well as Femboy Volunteers and Imperium artwork.
NBGM invasion
The first organized effort by a faction to achieve an objective in the arena was conducted by the Navy Blue Grand Monarchy, which successfully occupied the entire territory of Legion's Arena with a blue template. Imperium's artwork was not covered due to its status as a close ally of the NBGM. In the initial invasion, resistance to the Monarchy was sporadic and disorganized. A small group of veteran placers, including GrayTurtles, hazard121000, Gaudi, and others, made a small counterattack on the template of buddy, but this was repulsed.
The Pinkchat Militia strikes
The day after the arena was seized, a small group of volunteer fighters began to cover the NBGM template with pink. As the attack started to make more progress and be taken more seriously, more users coalesced around it. This loosely organized group, retroactively called the Pinkchat Militia, was not defined by factional loyalties but rather a single goal: to push out the NBGM and restore the original "chaotic" state of the arena. The Militia covered roughly 2/3 of the NBGM template before they started to be rapidly pushed back. Soon the Monarchy's art defeated the Militia's, despite piecemeal counterattacks covering the front.
Third parties enter the fold
Legion began to build the arena template itself much faster after this point.
Sidestep and dani26795 began to build an independent template over the NBGM once the arena was nearly completed. They were supported by a small but high-endurance group of megaplacers, including hazard. While their initial incursion was repelled, they would fully commit to fighting in the arena after this.
First Legion counterinvasion
Once the arena template was complete, Legion mounted a full scale attack on the NBGM template. Even the upper echelons of the faction were involved in the invasion, including Legate (leader) Molodoy and high-ranking officers Snegovich, Tyto_alba, and LDC leader uhbyr1. The engagement dragged on for hours, until ultimately Legion's forces were stalled in the southern portion of the arena. This prompted them to move users from the north to reinforce the south, but they were still unable to stem the tide of NBGM resistance. In the chaos of the Monarchy's counterattack, Sidestep and dani's faction, along with the stragglers of the Pinkchat Militia, mounted separate attacks against Legion and NBGM, before focusing singularly on the NBGM.
The NBGM and third-party template formed a ceasefire agreement so the Monarchy could focus on resisting Legion. Ultimately, the Legion offensive was completely repulsed. When this happened, fighting immediately resumed between the Monarchy and third-party group. The NBGM won this battle as well.
NBGM's victories were immediately followed up by opportunity attacks from Femboy Volunteers members.
Second Legion counterinvasion (Siege of Buddy)
The next day, Legion reorganized its forces for a second invasion into the arena. While they were briefly stalled in the south, the third-party template resumed attacks on the NBGM and led to a significant breakthrough by the legionaries. The heaviest fighting of the offensive was centered around the buddy template, then referred to as the Siege of Buddy. Legion covered the template in the early phases of the offensive but NBGM fighters never stopped resisting, and were ultimately able to retake buddy, along with roughly 1/3 of the arena. Hectic multi-sided fighting broke out, as the third-party template, Pinkchat Militia, and Gura's Supermarket templates battled each other, Legion and NBGM simultaneously. After a few more hours of heavy conflict, Legion finally covered NBGM, which attempted a counterattack that was unsuccessful.
Final significant conflicts
Legionaries rapidly defeated the third-party template, Pinkchat Militia, and GSm art. The fully-complete Legion template remained the only art in the arena until the completion of the canvas, though it was updated several times at the request of volunteer placers such as Gaudi. The third-party group made several attempts to fight Legion for control of the arena, but these were never successful in taking more than 1/4 of its territory.
Near the end of the canvas, independent teal placers (principally Universe) began fighting Legion, though never making permanent or major gains.

Early events
The second arena saw significantly less activity in the opening weeks of the canvas compared to C49. The main project in the C50 arena was a large rat made by Ryeam and a few others.
Three weeks into the canvas, a striped magenta background was started, but it expanded slowly over the course of several days. In the east of the arena, a melon background overwhelmed some small art, but beyond this there was minimal conflict.
PS-led arts arrive
A loose alliance of Pixelstuck members and volunteers took to the arena on the 26th day of the canvas in a coordinated project, covering the entire area with some small arts. However, there was only limited fighting as the builders of the rat and pre-existing backgrounds did not resist the changes.
Fighting broke out between the alliance of PS-led placers and a few volunteers who continually tried to turn the background of the arena red. They faced moderate resistance across the arena but were ultimately successful.
NBGM invasion
On the 30th day of the canvas, NBGM forces once again invaded the arena. The attack was focused on Pixelstuck's Melon template, which was replaced with a picture of buddy, while the arena background was quickly steamrolled. However, continual resistance remained from both Pixelstuck and Legion volunteers. A major counterattack on the first day of the invasion saw around 2/3 of the arena retaken by the defenders before it was pushed back and defeated by the NBGM. The fighting was heaviest around the Melon/Buddy area and the Rok, another small art made by PS in the arena.
NBGM withdrew from the arena after around 31 hours of fighting.
Background deterioration and end of fighting
The background of the arena degenerated into several warring designs:
- Pixelstuck's lattice
- A striped magenta background which controlled the left half of the arena.
- Teal placers led by Universe.
- NBGM holdovers.
- Red placers from earlier in the canvas.
The fighting resulted in widespread victories for the persistent teal placers, who replaced navy blue as the background for PS's artwork. The canvas reset soon after.
Canvas 51
The C51 arena was designed to look like a jack-o-lantern in a similar art style to a yoba. It was much less active than the preceding arenas.
Some Legion members built a bit lattice in the arena, but this was covered by a sky-blue background that maintained control of the arena until the final days of the canvas. On the 33rd day of the canvas, a pink background and a void started to attack the sky-blue background, but the canvas reset before they could fully cover it.
