Atomic10, aka Andrew, is a pxls.space player, known for being the owner of the Andrew's Lattice faction. He joined pxls the day it launched, and had been mostly active on the site up until canvas 30. For some of that time, he was a moderator on the site and Discord server, where he has been active for all of his time in pxls.

Pxls Appearance

Canvas 1 to Canvas 3

Having found pxls.space via a Discord server for the Foxes faction of r/Place and its clones, he spent the entirety of his efforts in the first three canvases making foxes in the Foxes faction's area.

He made friends with Sorunome, who headed the faction and developed a bot to place and monitor pixels for the faction's art. She would later become the lead developer for pxls and its server.

In canvas 3, he aided the Foxes in the Great Spurdo War, which saw the foxes faction, teamed up with several others, battle for territory being taken by the Spurdos.

Canvas 4 to Canvas 5

In canvas 4, Atomic10 created several small personal artworks on the top of the canvas, not participating in the large art that the Foxes were creating. He did however work with his personal friends on The Chomp near the bottom after telling them about pxls.space. He made similar smaller artworks in canvas 5 (with his notable creation of the "Mutli-accounting is a sin!" sign.

Canvas 6

This canvas saw the flourishing of many smaller factions, including one that Atomic10 had created during the canvas reset: Andrew's Lattice.

This was the canvas that Andrew's Lattice most prominently appeared in. It featured smaller artworks from many users, as well as his artworks from previous canvases.

Canvas 7 to Canvas 8

During these two canvases, Atomic10 created artwork relating to the ThunderCats TV series. On canvas 8, he surrounded his art with his faction's lattice pattern, which felt pressure from the nearby Green Lattice.

Apollo 17

Canvas 9

On this canvas, he made a large tribute to the Apollo 17 lunar landing mission. Unfortunately, near the end of the canvas, he foolishly decided to "sell" the canvas space that the art was on, and it quickly disappeared.

Additionally, Atomic10 drew the character Katia Managan on the bottom of the canvas. Just before reset, he altered the art so she appeared naked, which remains on the final canvas image.

Canvas 10

On this canvas, Atomic10 created a huge project, Hall of Game, on the top of the canvas, displaying a banner of several popular video games throughout history. It was made with the help of many people

Also, against all odds and logic, his naked Katia Managan art had by absolute luck made it onto the initial canvas image, due to canvas 10 being a collage of all previous canvases. He corrected her so she was no longer naked, and it survived to the end of the canvas once more.

Canvas 11 to Canvas 14

These canvases featured medium sized artworks by Atomic10. On canvas 11 he made the logo for StupidFox.net, on canvas 13 he drew Retsuko from the Netflix series Aggretsuko, and on canvas 14 he started a failed faction, Math pxls, which ended up only drawing its own logo, alongside a pixel art of "Tupper's Self-Referential Formula."

Canvas 15

On this canvas, Atomic10 organized the next major appearance of Andrew's Lattice after its debut in canvas 6. However, this time, it mostly featured artworks made by Atomic10 himself, including: Fionna from Adventure Time, Koyaanisqatsi, a filter knob, and Tails's airplane from Sonic the Hedgehog.

Canvas 16

In the upper left corner, he made the old Packard Bell logo and the flag of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He planned to make more logos, but had not. He also drew the Minesweeper logo.

Canvas 17

Around this time, Atomic10 had grown an interest over the old Belarus faction's canvas 2 art, Beltyan, a lady in a traditional dress holding an MP-40. He recreated her on this canvas alongside his smaller art of Nepeta from Homestuck.

Canvas 18

With the immense presence of 2ch on this canvas, Atomic10, like everyone else, felt the need to preserve his art against the threat of 2ch. His art was Tracy, a character from the Isle of Dogs movie. It had been griefed by several users, but the real threat was 2ch, which eventually expanded into its vicinity. Through luck and his careful chatting with 2ch users on their forums, he found a way to preserve his art. He agreed to make Tracy's necktie red, an homage to the Young Pioneers movement in the Soviet Union.

Staff Membership

Atomic10 joined the staff team on 6 April 2018, and was eventually demoted on 14 January 2020.

During his time as a moderator, he moderated the Discord server and site, including the site's chat after its addition. He also did many things in direct regard to the site, including:

Canvas Designs

Atomic10 had designed a portion of the canvases in pxls.space. These include:

Canvas 14 - the Monopoly canvas

Canvas 16 - the paper canvas

Canvas 18 - the MS Paint canvas

Canvas 24 - the octagon canvas

Canvas 27 - the inverse donut canvas

Canvas 29 - the world canvas

Canvas 30a - the mistletoe/RGB canvas

Other Changes

Atomic10 created the sound effect used for on-site chat alerts.

He proposed and modeled the new cooldown time function, which was altered and put into action on 27 October 2019.

After the Pxls server wipe on 10 April 2018, he worked with staff and helped to reorganize the server.

He jokingly suggested that a six hour slow-mode channel should exist, and after it was created, people enjoyed it enough for staff to keep it.

Personality

Atomic10, though competitive, tries to make friends with everybody. He loves foxes and will promote them wherever possible.

His long-standing presence in the pxls.space community has gained him a reputation for advocating for the older ways that factions behaved back in the earlier canvases.

Since canvas 30, he has not felt the motivation to participate in the canvas beyond some very small and sparing projects.
