For canvas 30a, the palette was changed to include only reds, greens and blues.

Partway through the canvas, it was expanded due to it filling quicker than the Pxls staff assumed it would. This expansion was done so the reset to canvas 31 could be done on January 1st.

The area added to the canvas in the expansion is shown with a checkerboard pattern in the initial canvas image to the right.

This canvas expansion is unique in the fact that no other canvas has added additional space to the top or left which causes the coordinates of existing pixels to change. This also causes files generated by the logs to display incorrectly, such as the canvas timelapse.

Info

This canvas was designed by Andrew.

At the start, the size of the canvas was 500x500 and all of the 250,000 total pixels were placeable. After the expansion, the size of the canvas was 666x666 and all of the 443,556 total pixels were placeable.

An interactive version of this canvas showing the names of factions and where they were located can be found here.

More detailed info such as timelapses, the final virginmap, and more can be found on the official pxls.space archives.
