==== The server ==== | |||
The faction's creation on c32 was a result of ioanBG wishing to involve himself in the world of pxlitics. This was his first attempt at making, organising and managing a server and faction. However, his nationality-based server could not be active, as there simply weren't any bulgarians on pxls and he did not have a lot of friends that could boast activity.
==== The great slovene wars ====
Canvas-wise the faction was more active, but did not have a lot of luck. Its first act was to make a simple bulgarian flag, with each of the 3 stripes being 6 pixels tall. As it was not in any claimed zone, the flag went unnoticed. This was about to change, as ioanBG had discussed with a person named trainhead1201, who had a radical proposal: turning the large slovenian flag into a bulgarian one. Filled with patriotism, ioanBG accepted the proposal and proceeded to attack the slovenian flag. The result was a success for the slovenians, followed by a ceasefire. Greatly embarassed by this fail, ioanBG decided to return and remove the slovenian emblem, thus turning their flag into a russian one. The result was catastrophic, with the slovenes repelling the attack, followed by their successfull operation against the bulgarian flag. ioanBG was devastated by this and, after a while, came up with 2 solutions to the problem of Bulgaria having no presence on the canvas. The first option called for a daring counterattack which would've occured at exactly 3am slovenian time. The second and peaceful option called for making a longer bulgarian flag somewhere else on the canvas. After hours of thinking, ioanBG decided to go with the peaceful option, as the war plan meant that he would have to wake up at 4am and somehow revert all the damage before anyone showed up, and then somehow protect it.

==== The reestablishment ====
What followed was talks with trainhead1201 in pxls chat, who chose a location for another flag, this time with each stripe being 7px tall. Said location was northeast of the destroyed flag, as to show the slovenes that the bulgarian spirit was not easy to destroy. The flag was expanded in both directions, mostly to the east, with ioanBG planning for it to stretch throughout the entire canvas, a plan which ultimately failed, as the canvas reset too soon. The flag did however cover a wide area and was quite visible.
==== The polish invasion ====
| |||
One day the flag's western parts were attacked by a few people who removed the green stripe, thereby turning the flag into a polish one. Luck was initially against BGPxls, as ioanBG was outgunned. However, most of the polish soldiers left the battlefield, with ioanBG attempting to diplomate, exclamating that "if you do not accept this peace deal, you are gay". The polish leader replied that he was actually homosexual, to which ioanBG said "well then you'll be straight". After that, the polish general quickly accepted the peace deal, which involved using the thin diagonal rainbow road as a border between the 2 nations. Later during the canvas the polish flag, along with western parts of the bulgarian one were annexed by Pxls Garden's background.
==== Colonial efforts ====
Along with expanding the main flag, ioanBG made many small 3x5 bulgarian flags all around the canvas, with estimates of their nu,bers ranging from 5 (on the 4 legs and tail of the cat) to 10. Notable among those were the 2 flags based around the tail, one being a 3x10px one on the topmost area of the canvas, and a 12x12 one near the base of the tail. The latter was eventually destroyed.
==== Invasion by Kristians ====
Later on the canvas the main flag was invaded by Kristians' lattice. The attack terrified ioanBG, as Kristians was one of the top 5 placers on the canvas, while ioan was barely in the top 70s. However, to his shock, after about 2 hours of fighting, Kristians left the battlefield and allowed ioanBG to rebuild his flag.
| |||
==== Expansion of the Army ====
On the last day of c32, ioanBG contacted his real-life friends and introduced them to pxls, telling them that a new canvas was coming and that they should be prepared for it. Following that, 2 out of his 3 close friends made accounts, the third not being introduced as he was deemed too unfit for the role of a soldier. They all placed during the final moments of the canvas, managing to clean off some griefs and expanding eastwards even more.
=== Canvas 33 === | |||
==== Organisation and structure ====
With ioanBG's friends having pxls accounts, and with the sister of one of them joining in, the bulgarian military stood at 4 people. However, none of them (apart from ioanBG) had discord servers, resulting in them organising themselves into a viber groupchat. ioanBG was obviously the head of the group, as he had experience on pxls, was the creator and, unlike the rest, was good with english. This did not mean that he acted as a dictator, the decisions were decided mostly by polling.
==== Beginning and Italian invasion ====
At the very start of the canvas, the initial area claimed by BGpxls was covered by the KB faction (russian: КБ). ioanBG diplomated with them and negotiated a relocation. Soon after the flag was completed, it was attacked by a text saying "ITALY". After the damage was cleared, the group voted on whether to expand the flag, with all of its members voting "yes".
==== Thailand war ==== | |||
Soon after, the user Woko100 constructed a thai flag obstructing most of the eastern parts of the bulgarian one from expanding. The response was an invasion in which the Bulgarian Army conquered and occupied the thai flag, which, after diplomacy, was shrunken to about twice its size.
==== Conflicts with Sweden ====
| |||
To the west of the bulgarian flag sat a swedish one, blocking it from accessing the canvas' edge. Its members attacked bulgaria, but were pushed back. An attempt to shrink the swedish flag failed, with the change being moving the border 3px westwards. Skirmishes did continue, and, after a conflict between swedes and danes, the Bulgarian Army launched a peacekeeping mission, splitting the flag in a danish and swedish half, along with occupied territories all around the banner, thereby connecting the bulgarian one to the edge of the canvas.
==== Ban of TheIncredibleHulk24 ====
TheIncredibleHulk24 was the leader of the slovene faction, and as such the №1 enemy of BGpxls. After his ban for botting, almost the entire slovenian flag was gone from the canvas, and it was right in the way of the bulgarian transcanvasal banner. A vote was held on whether the banner should cross through the former territories, with all votes being "yes". The plan was not finalised, as by the time the bulgarian flag reached the slovenian one, it had been restored.
==== The KagamiiX conflicts ====
| |||
Near the end of the canvas, user KagamiiX made raids along the entire flag, at one point covering a large portion of it. Despite protests from ioanBG, they did not stop, and continued on during the final day. Most of the flag was recovered, however portions near Pink Gang were constantly under attack. Despite the military being deployed too late to revert all damage, the flag's borders were deemed alright much later on, while the initial reaction was that of shock, sadness and anger, particularly about the one stray pixel on the white stripe.
==== Aftermath ==== | |||
| |||
This can be considered the most successfull canvas in Bulgaria Pxls's history, with ioanBG achieving his goal of having a flag span the entire canvas (excluding arts placed over it), the faction having a reasonably-sized placing force and achieving victory in most conflicts it partook in. However, it took a toll on its members, who were devastated after their loss against KagamiiX. Furthermore, most of them were not interested in continuing their pxls careers, with the group dying out. All of the faction members apart from ioanBG did not pass 1500px, with only one passing 1k. The targeted griefs by KagamiiX depressed ioanBG, and he was not sure about continuing his transcanvasal flag idea on canvas 34.
=== Canvas 34 === | |||
Immediately after the canvas started, ioanBG made attempts to make a flag map of Bulgaria, but was tracked down by KagamiiX. Despite this, he managed to make one near Pink Gang. He talked with PG owner GrayTurtles, who allowed him to make it there. Unfortunately, after a vote in the PG server, an art was put over it, which resulted in a lot of complaining that ultimately led to nothing. BGpxls was not active after that, as most of its members were burnt out and did not wish to place. There were several unsuccessfull attempts to make a flag spanning the canvas, but ioanBG switched his focus to Flag Area and subsequently defending Youj's arts. He did make a larger map over part of KagamiiX's art with Youj's support. During this canvas ioanBG focused on preparing an actual art for next canvas, a coat of arms, which user swffl helped defiddle.
=== Canvas 35 === | |||
The planned art for c35 was placed in one of the raindrops, however ioanBG entered in a claim conflict with TNT. He was decisively defeated and nearly quit pxls. Later he made another art and placed it near the top of the canvas, but it was covered as a result of the Anglerfish War. Later a large flag was made nearby, with a lattice near it, both being covered later on. An attempt to troll the pale rainbow road ended in defeat because of popular support for the road.
==== The serbian invasion ====
One of the many flags made was near BGpxls's traditional ally, France Pxls. Around the middle of the canvas a group of serbian users made their flag right next to it, and proceeded to raid ioanBG's close friend, Youj. Their flag was swiftly occupied and annexed, after which a lattice was started. It went on to have a moderate presence in the area, holding areas around the edge of the canvas, with claims inland. However, there was an ambition to cover areas belonging to Missing Texture Gang, which ioanBG thought were not supposed to be there. He gradually expanded his lattice a few pixels deeper into their territory, going unnoticed.

==== The great offensive ====
| |||
Near the end of april, MTG and Legion had a border skirmish, which ioanBG thought was going to divert attention from his attack. It was initially a success, with him pushing in MTG territory. However, soon after, he was pushed back and was forced to make a border. Over the next few days MTG surrounded BGpxls and took a long strip of land across the canvas edge. After lengthly negotiations, ioanBG retook part of said strip in return for giving away territory closer to MTG's core parts. MTG plans to annex all territories including the flag were prevented, but a lot of morale was lost.
==== Colonial efforts ====
After the loss in the MTG invasion ioanBG feared that BGpxls would be forced to leave the cloud part of the canvas, he decided to look elsewhere in order to establish colonies. A total of 4 were made, with 2 located on the same raindrop. In the end, only one of them survived, as one was targeted by KagamiiX minutes after its completion, one was covered by Green Lattice and the third and largest was covered by Rainbow Lattice.
=== Canvas 36 === | |||
ioanBG decided to use the art planned for c35 on the following canvas. He managed to claim and protect it with relative ease, however his attention mostly switched to managing Flag Zone. BGPxls maintained a presence there, as one of the 2 large flags, the other being a polish one. A lattice was made, but it neither got into conflicts nor even surrounded the entire art. This canvas marked the decline of ioanBG's interest in the faction, seeing that noone except him, his friends and random volunteers would help.

He had several arts available, including another St. A. Nevsky pixel art and a 2k façade of the former Parliament building in Sofia. The people who helped him were poles, with whom he discussed through the discord, which had rarely been used for any meaningful communication before. They initially placed the cathedral art, after which they began constructing the Parliament art over the seemingly incomplete BFDIpxls art, which they saw as nothing more than random pixels. However, soon after, they were asked to stop by the LOF. ioanBG agreed, however, the poles continued making the art until most of it was complete. After that, the art was abandoned.

On canvas 45 Youj insulted ioanBG, claiming that his factions were all dead, and that he could not be a leader. ioanBG decided to answer by making an 8k art of the bulgarian coat of arms' shield in the first 5 days of the new canvas. The art was expertly cleaned and defiddled, and was completed much earlier than Polonian Pxls, Youj's faction, for a short while having 3 people place on it. The notable thing about that is that the CoA was defiddled in the BGPxls discord, however no messages with the template were ever posted there. Instead, all the coordination and placing power came from the anti-amogus one.

On c44, the ruler of the c28 BGpxls, Dark0 contacted ioanBG asking to help revive the faction. On c53, he did again, this time asking for server ownership. ioanBG agreed, and one of the first acts of the new owner was to order the creation of a flag, despite ioanBG attempting to convince him building art is better. Following that, he got himself into a conflict with Orange Gang, which was technically an ally of BGpxls. Despite pressure from ioanBG, Dark0 recruited people from outside of pxls. However, the untrained conscripts were soon forced to flee by the superior OG army, leaving ioanBG to negotiate a peace deal and command a retreat. Following that, he placed the art he wanted to build by himself anyway, without any help from Dark0 or his men, who left the server shortly afterwards.

Bulgaria Pxls, officially the Principality of Bulgaria Pxls, is a very small faction that made small Bulgarian symbols and artwork along with a lattice. It was at its peak during Canvas 33 when it made a Bulgarian flag through the canvas and Canvas 35 when it made a lattice over a large part of the canvas. It is a principality of the Navy Blue Grand Monarchy, and by extension, the Chromatic Empire.

The faction's creation on c32 was a result of ioanBG wishing to involve himself in the world of pxlitics. This was his first attempt at making, organising and managing a server and faction.
