_Etta

2v (formerly _Etta) joined Pxls late on Canvas 56. She is a former moderator and leader of the faction Lumina.

History

2v joined Pxls a few weeks after the end of r/place 2 through a thread created for the site in the Green Lattice Discord server. Initially only creating 2 sprites of the Pokémon Meloetta, one of which had been created and destroyed repeatedly during r/place 2, she later went on to fight against Left Pxls, mistaking their defense against Anti Communist Pxls as an attack on Green Lattice. She would go on to attack Legion's lattice, planning on moving the border between the two to the Rainbow Road to "make the border nicer" and nearly starting a conflict between Green Lattice and Legion before backing down upon being confronted by a member of Legion.

Leaving Pxls immediately upon the start of Canvas 56a due to her lack of interest and her attempt to build for Green Lattice being overwritten by Gura's Supermarket, 2v would return to Pxls at the beginning of Canvas 58, bringing two friends with her and founding Lilac Lattice as an inverted version of Green Lattice. The faction would only last through the end of the canvas, with all of Lilac Lattice quitting Pxls on the first day of Canvas 59.

2v would rejoin halfway through Canvas 59, taking Lilac Lattice and rebranding it as the Margraviate of Solvernia (Later just Solvernia), planning on making it "the opposite of the Chromatic Empire," which she heavily disliked along with large factions in general. 2v joined Flandre after helping them at the tail end of the Flandre-Foxhole War. Her involvement in the Schizo War on Canvas 62 would lead to notEnough and briefly Caxap and Brot griefing Solvernia throughout all of Canvas 64 and Canvas 65. After intermittent griefing from notEnough through Canvas 67, 2v finally came to an agreement with Schizophrenia, agreeing to defiddle an art piece for them in exchange for ending the conflict. 2v was the fastest placer on Canvas 64a, initially being outplaced by Mcdoodlydoo, but ending the canvas with the highest pixel count by a large margin when Mcdoodlydoo stopped placing due to the canvas expansion preventing him from beating the theoretical maximum pixel count for the canvas.

2v would become a mod partway through Canvas 66, becoming the first mod that had joined Pxls after mid 2020. On Canvas 68, 2v would get into another conflict by destroying Wulfstrex's art, resulting in him starting a #blame_etta campaign and griefing art pieces in and around Solvernia's lattice in an attempt to get people to attack Solvernia, but was unsuccessful. Following the end of Canvas 68, 2v's activity would begin to drop off significantly as she became busier IRL. Solvernia's attack on Senko's magenta background on Canvas 69 would lead to them being heavily griefed on the next canvas, with 2v being unable to fend off the attacks due to her having less free time. Halfway through the canvas, 2v would receive help from various people, leading to the completion of Solvernia's art and it being intact at reset. On Canvas 73 she helped defend the pride Ninetales art from Oofcloof before taking her first break from pxls in more than a year, returning at the end of the canvas. On Canvas 74 she built a memorial to a friend who had passed away a couple of days before the canvas started, dedicating nearly all of her free time to building it and the accompanying lattice. During the latter half of Canvas 75 she and Chalkless griefed YOIB upon their attempted resurrection, and she hit 500k pixels the following canvas. At the end of Canvas 78, she took an extended break from much of the internet, formally stepping down as mod a couple months later.

While she had yet to return to pxls, she was extremely active on Sinder's canvas, ending the event in third behind nssa and Falken. At the start of Canvas 84 she had her username changed to 2v to match the tag of her new Discord account, and she returned to pxls near the end of the canvas, building a couple of small sprites she had drawn over the previous months. On Canvas 85 she built a cityscape art piece that she had drawn along with starting her trend of building a set symbol from the Pokémon TCG alongside her art. Taking advantage of Canvas 87's large size, she claimed a large art piece in the centre of the canvas along with a 600k ego that she drew herself. 2v was much more active on Canvas 88a than on the past few canvases, building a handful of small art pieces and raiding some tentacle art with a sizeable Zeraora art. Near the end of Canvas 89 she founded Lumina, a faction themed around Vectorheart, Metrogrunge, and other similar Y2K/Frutiger Aero styles.

2v has designed Canvases 68, 69, 72, and 74, along with designing the favicon used by pxls.space.
