The Schizo War (originally called the Schizo Raid), is an ongoing conflict between a coalition of factions led by Gura's Supermarket and Idle Slayer targeted against the multi-faction union known as Schizophrenia, which was established on Canvas 62 and consists of D2, Veil, and the QTs.
Background
The Schizophrenia faction was established on Canvas 62 from a union of D2, Veil, and the QTs. Its first-ever template ("Rouge") was despised by multiple faction leaders, including Gaudi999 of Gura's Supermarket and Fruity of Flandre. These users - and several independent users - lobbied the Pxls staff to take action against the art, but it was only slightly modified before being judged as acceptable under the rules of Pxls.space. Consequently, multiple faction leaders began drawing up plans to raid the art. These plans were eventually merged into a single attack aimed at building an Idle Slayer sprite ("Giant") over Schizophrenia.
Timeline
24th October – attack begins. Rouge was almost done at this point. One of the attackers (IS) had an ongoing contest, which meant that they were getting in-game rewards for every 2,000 pixels placed for any of faction templates, including Giant. Also top-10 of placers were promised to get bigger rewards by the end of the contest.
26th October – Antde decided to try to convince Idle Slayer (which was most active) to stop fighting. He assumed that IS members aren't interested in war but in pixel farming and offered an option to give up Giant and start placing background instead. Doubleturtle as a leader of Idle Slayer made a poll about that, but community voted to continue fighting.
28th October – Giant was fully build for the first time. Doubleturtle posted background template for Idle Slayer, but asked to also defend Giant. However, most of IS members become inactive or less active because of contest rules, which made almost impossible to get rewards for the top pixel count if you weren't here from the beginning. Other part of placers started to build IS background. All of that leaded to the point where Rouge was started to be visible again.
29th October – Rouge defenders was able to draw head and shoulders almost completely. Rouge x Giant looked quite funny on a canvas at this point, that's why both sides started to create some memes about it.
The war continued mainly near the top of both pieces, with Rouge's head coming close to being almost done to totally covered, the leaves of the giant were also continuously removed and rebuilt too. Each side had their "Advantage Hours" - it is not known who dubbed this term - which is where they would have an advantage, as many members of the opposing side were asleep and would not be able to place for their side.
Throughout the entire war, other pieces were attacked by the opposing sides, note that all these attacks seemed to have been done by users independently, rather than coordinated attacks by factions. Flandre and GSM were attacked by Schizo places, and Schizo's second piece - to the left of Rouge - was attacked, mainly by Flandre placers. These raids are ongoing, it is not clear whether either side intends to fully destroy the other's piece.
