The Corner War was a continuous battle that lasted approximately 43 hours at the beginning of Canvas 47.
Timeline
Background
Prior to the reset that would open Canvas 47, 2ch had preclaimed the top center area of the canvas. Corner Gang claimed the bottom left. However, around 40 minutes before the reset actually happened, 2ch made a surprise announcement claiming the bottom left, which eliminated Corner Gang's chances of making art on the canvas. This, in conjunction with other previous behavior by 2ch, led Legion to intervene in an effort to restore the Corner Gang template. The League of Factions, which had been fighting 2ch since the previous canvas, joined in shortly after.
