The Second Cursed–Cell War was the second of two conflicts involving Cursed Clan near the end of Canvas 37.
Timeline
Cursed Clan aggression
Cursed Clan invaded Green Lattice on July 6th, one day before the canvas reset. The leader of Cursed Clan later cited the reason for the attack as an aggressive blockade by GL (which blocked the Cursed lattice from expanding), as well as wanting to do something before the canvas reset. Cursed Clan made great gains during the war before GL began to defend itself. Even amid GL resistance, Cursed Clan was still able to advance at a reduced pace.
Counterattack
Shortly thereafter, Cell Lattice (violating their recent peace deal) invaded Cursed Clan's lattice from the north, putting pressure on Cursed Clan as it had to contend with a second front. Veil also stepped in, invading through its lattice's border with Cursed Clan. This spread the Cursed members even thinner as well as put them firmly on the defensive.
Cursed Clan eventually reached an agreement to form a new border with GL, allowing a generous slice of their southern territory to be taken by Green Lattice. Shortly afterward they also reached peace with Veil.
Cell Lattice continued its invasion, meeting greater success than it had during the first war due to a lack of community support for Cursed Clan. As this was happening, members of YOIB and ERROR Gang griefed Cursed Clan's artwork with a sign reading "YOIB x ERROR gang," continuing to put Cursed Clan on the defensive as they contended with CL's invasion as well as repairing the grief.
After a long conflict, the leader of Cursed Clan wrote an announcement instructing all Cursed members to stop fighting. CL began to consume Cursed Clan's lattice at a heightened rate, but bouts of resistance from Cursed members continued to flare up. At the end of the canvas, a large portion of Cursed Clan's lattice had been consumed by Cell Lattice.
