Duk (also known as Hidono) is a user that joined during canvas 3, though staying largely inactive until canvas 48. He primarily makes/participates in making art related to Hollow Knight and NBGM.

He placed and supported the Chromatic Empire so much that he was selected as the "Hero of the Chromatic Empire".

History

Canvas 3 - 48

Duk discovered pxls after watching a youtube video on r/place and reading the comments. He did very little during these canvases, placing around 1400 pixels.

Canvas 48

Duk returned on the 30th of June, 2021. Not being in any factions, he primarily worked on various small arts and helped with any projects he found interesting.

Of the various small arts created by Duk, one of them involved scattering black and white houses around the canvas; He eventually decided to make a small town out of these buildings called Pixburg. He created more building types and created Pixburg between LOF and Pixelstuck.

Canvas 49

On canvas 49, Duk joined the Pride Faction, helping them with their art and placing Pixburg right below. He also decided to begin creating art of Hollow Knight characters on each canvas until Hollow Knight: Silksong was released. The first Hollow Knight art Duk made was of Hornet, which lead to numerous other Hollow Knight arts appearing at the top of the canvas.

Duk also participated in the arena, first making orange blobs (which he called the infection) and later helping dani26795 and Sidestep with their template.

Canvas 50

Duk made art of Grey Prince Zote on canvas 50; its placement over LOF's star from canvas 41 caused him to come into conflict with LOF's sole active member at the time. Duk decided to begin helping out NBGM so they would finish their art faster and eventually cover up the rest of the star with navy blue. After spamming aqua pixels for a while, he joined NBGM fully.

Duk decided to theme Pixburg after NBGM, changing the black to navy blue. He also stopped scattering houses around the canvas in favor of placing for NBGM.

Canvas 51

On canvas 51, Duk made art of Nightmare King Grimm. Other than placing for NBGM, Duk also helped out with redpenguiin's various arts of Gooseworx characters.
