Pxlstar is a faction that makes semi-random art, usually the art is chosen by SpikeLink, but others can suggest art as well, their art mainly focuses on SpikeLink's interests, being anime, video games, fantasy and more. Pxlstar is small-medium sized faction that takes up a notable amount of space on more recent canvases, most notably on Canvas 51, with their art below Pink Gang. Pxlstar does not have a specific theme or art style for their arts, unlike other factions.

History

Pre Canvas 34a History

Pxlstar originally started off as SpikeLink's personal project across several canvases, beginning with SpikeLink joining pxls. It existed as a private archive for some amount of time, with art being made every few canvases, along with records of the SpikeLink's egos.

Canvas 34a

Canvas 34a is one of SpikeLink's personal projects, which is a small Triforce symbol above the Magenta Gang art.

Canvas 35

Canvas 35 is another one of SpikeLink's personal projects, which is a white and blue star near the Rick Astley art.

Canvas 36

On this Canvas, a larger piece was made with the help of random users, this piece was to the right of the Scrappy Pixels core. Along with this, SpikeLink also made a smaller piece nearby, being several colourful macrons.

Canvas 37

Canvas 37 had only a small piece, a tombstone from the game Journey, which acted as a semi-ego, that marked 50k Pixels, which was then later changed to be 60k.

Canvas 38

Canvas 38 saw more Journey art, this time a large background piece of the sky and desert, along with several characters. This art was sandwiched between ManePxls and Pixelstuck, however it didn't interfere with either of the larger templates and integrated very nicely with the surrounding arts.

Canvas 40

Canvas 40 only had another ego on it, being SpikeLink's ego, which was the Legend of Zelda character, link along with a sign reading 100k. This was right in the middle of Pixelstuck's art, yet did not interfere with it.

Canvas 42

For Canvas 42, Pxlstar placed a medium sized piece celebrating the 25 year anniversary of Tales of Phantasia. Their piece had to be relocated and the sign was moved to the right of the characters, rather than underneath the characters.

Canvas 43

For Canvas 43, Pxlstar had a medium-large sized piece in the mid-right of the canvas, being the character Collette Brunel. This piece was underneath Grid Illusion Lattice and near Cursed Clan.

Canvas 43a

Canvas 43a was a gimmick canvas, and was far smaller than other canvases, so Pxlstar only had a small art near Pink Gang, being an NES console with red frowning eyes titled 'Kaizo Trap (angry)'.

Canvas 44

Canvas 44 only had a smaller piece, being another one of SpikeLink's egos, which was the characters Kai and Zo, over the top of a white object that read 150.

Canvas 46

For Canvas 46, Pxlstar had a medium-large sized piece, on the lower index finger of the mouse. This piece was titled 'First Radiant Ideal' and resembled a house shield and motto, most likely from a media piece.

Canvas 48

Canvas 48 had a smaller art, located near Polonian Pxls and Pink Gang, it was the character Faputa.

Canvas 49

Pxlstar was officially founded on Canvas 49, with their Sylphrena art, this took up a large portion of the canvas and had a large grey background behind it. This art was located in the mid-leftish of the canvas.

Canvas 51

Canvas 51 was where Pxlstar had their one of their biggest arts, with their template just below Pink Gang, this art featured several characters and a custom background, along with their discord invite link. Pxlstar also had several smaller arts littered across the canvas. This art was in collaboration with Defensive_Lobster, which meant that it was a mixture of two themes, rather than Pxlstar's usual single theme.

During Canvas 51, the Pxlstar discord server was raided, however this was unrelated to what was going on with the canvas.

Canvas 52

Pxlstar, much like on C51, had a large piece this canvas, on the mid-left of the canvas once more. This piece was one of the largest on the canvas, yet took a while to complete, users like Hazard12100 helped recruit other users work on the art.
