Magenta Squad is a faction first formed on Canvas 34. Initially, it started as a joke, but began creating art on Canvas 35, led by swffl, but due to feeling stuck in a theme, they ended up stepping down from faction leader. It was also announced that chriichrii would take over starting Canvas 37.
They have a mascot of a magenta and lavender maggot, as well as its personification affectionately dubbed Maggot-chan

Starting from Canvas 37, Magnta Squad has had a theme runnign through all of it's art.

Opposition
For some reason, they are disliked by YOIB founder 4us, and have been griefed by members of YOIB, especially on Canvas 36. However, it is important to note that not all YOIB members are like this.
Allies
Despite the above, many factions have found themselves allying with the Magenta Squad. The most notable of these would be ERROR Gang, who also use magenta in their artworks. Another notable ally is Pink Gang, who have collaborated with Magenta Squad on Canvas 36. They have a positive relationship with Scrappy Pixels, as Scrappy and Magenta have collaborated on creating Rory, the magenta wolfboy.
