The Place Invasion is an ongoing influx of Pxls users triggered by the re-establishment of r/place on April 1st, 2022. It resulted in a heightened amount of griefs and conflicts. The largest battles during the Place Invasion have been related to voids.
Timeline of events
Northeast Void War
The Trollge Confederacy was among the first factions to suffer significant damage to its territory as a direct consequence of r/place. A void swallowed most of their template and was then covered by small arts, including one built by users from r/osuplace. After several days of near-total erasure of their art, Trollge mounted a counterattack and rebuilt their template.
Swarm War
A void group called The Swarm targeted Pxls.space in the aftermath of r/place, destroying several arts and building two cores. An anti-void bloc consisting of the League of Factions, Navy Blue Grand Monarchy, members of Pixelstuck, and volunteers from other servers, wiped out both cores. This resulted in The Swarm moving to another r/place clone.
