The Great Spurdo War was a major coalition invasion of Spurdo Lattice which took place on Canvas 3.

Background

The Spurdos faction became the most dominant and began invading and griefing many other factions. Also allying with key players from Deus Vult, although they helped the Spurdos to come to an agreement eventually.

Timeline

May 2017 - lepimnyx was trying to draw his yellow and green lines crossing at the centre, which was unclaimed, and he had been doing a circle from blue hot (centre) through to red hot layers, which he called The Core. This can be seen on the final canvas in the centre. On 24th of May, he found that the Annoying Spurdo Guy (user name forgotten) had covered the Core with brown pixels. He responded with a few nearby anti-spurdo attacks and a small amount of expansion in unclaimed terrain to the west of the Core.

Date to be determined - The annoying Spurdo guy carried on griefing lepimnyx's line with spurdos, so he set up some alliances with the Void, Foxes and others who joined the Anti-Spurdo coalition, proposing to draw a tree with the Rainbow spiral going through it. At 6am GMT on one day, when the spurdo guy was asleep, lepimnyx re-drew the Core, getting a good few hours head start, and the other factions set to work on the tree. Overwhelmed by large numbers, the Spurdo faction was beginning to be overpowered.

4th June - By this time the Spurdos had retreated still from the far fringes of their invasion.

Dark's 6666th pixel placed.

5th June - The Void was drawing black roots coming out of the Anti-Spurdo tree, to attack the Spurdos even more. Dark got 6666 pixels (all time, since the counter started in 3rd canvas which was the current one).

6th June - It was proposed that the roots of the tree should have a coloured outline - first dark green was proposed but then dark red looked better.

The Spurdo faction got angry at the abuse of their territory and said the Anti-Spurdo logo was like the Stamp from the 2nd canvas (which was done by them as the New Pixel Axis though it had taken an excessive amount of space). A new Stamp was discussed in the Anti-Spurdo and Pest Control discord servers which were made at the time, although it was not serious. It would say "Divided by Spurdos, United by Pixels" in it.

Deus Vult (including Steffff and warhorsestampede who was the top pixeler of all time in the first 3 canvases) had allied with the Spurdos to defend them from a counter-invasion. Steffff had drawn a Spurdo holding an axe and chopping the tree down.

Afterwards, the war had come to an armistice, and remained almost as it can be seen in the final canvas. One of the agreements was to have no roots, so Spurdos can be around there. To help maintain the stability of the new borders and later prevent incursions by Green Lattice, lepimnyx and warhorsestampede joined forces and created a mini hidden faction called Magenta Lattice (using the exact opposite colours of Green Lattice). This could be seen at the top middle in the final canvas.
