pxls.space had some presence on r/place 2. This included both core art, as well as several other pieces scattered throughout the r/place canvas.
Context
r/place 1 - the first r/place - was a Reddit April Fool's event held on the 1st of April of 2017, this featured a large blank canvas where users were able to place a selection of colours, once a user had placed a pixel on the canvas, they had to wait 5-15 minutes before they could place another pixel. r/place is similar to an earlier project - the Million Dollar Homepage, where users would need to spend $1 to buy a pixel.
r/place 2 was launched on the 1st of April of 2022, 5 years after the first r/place canvas was launched. This featured another large blank canvas, where users could select a colour to place on it. However, r/place 2 expanded twice, it doubled in size twice and increased the amount of available colours to place.
pxls.space is a direct clone of r/place, and because of pxls.space's connection to r/place, it made sense to have a presence on the r/place canvas.
Art
pxls.space has two pieces on the canvas, being the core piece and the 'botting is a sin!!' piece, neither of which are particularly large, however they are of some notice on the canvas.
Core
The core art of pxls.space on the r/place canvas features a rainbow made with exclusively the colours of the first palette of r/place, on this rainbow is text reading 'pxls.space'. Above this are several smaller pieces, which all link to significant groups on pxls, those being the Avogadro Project, pxlsFiddle, Spurdo, Socc, Pink Gang, Woke Cells, Cell Lattice, Legion, and Bags.
Botting is a sin!!
pxls.space has another piece on the lower portion of the canvas.
