-snip- mode poll

On the 21st of September at 14:16 UTC, 2 minutes after the closure of the palette poll, another poll was posted asking whether or not -snip- mode should be enabled on Canvas 93a in the #polls channel of the pxls.space Discord server. The poll lasted for 24 hours and it concluded with 56.25% of voters opposing -snip- mode.

-snip- mode makes pixel placing and chat messages anonymous, it was last used during Canvas 88a 5 months prior to the poll. Supporters of the gimmick argued that -snip- mode allows for griefing without consequences due to large factions often keeping track of placers who grief them. Opponents of the gimmick argued that it creates chat toxicity due to anonimity, and that -snip- mode is used too frequently, creating repetitiveness in gimmick canvases.
