Nutshack Sweep was the name given to an attack on the DreamPxls faction during Canvas 63, which was known for making half-ironic art for the Minecraft youtuber "Dream". The attacks were lead by juralumin and Nizrab and backed by many others. It follows a series of disputes between ARdude and the Chromatic Empire, despite ChE doing it's best to remain neutral at first.

The name "Nutshack Sweep" is a reference to the previous X190–SSPG conflict where Super Serious Pixel Group members would often claim the war was "Another ginger sweep", despitely ultimately losing the war.

SWEEP

Nutshack Pxls prepared their attack very early on in the canvas, but waited until the 9th of December to be unexpected and to gather as many placers as possible. Clueless charts showed that Nutshack immediately beat DreamPxls in placers, and DreamPxls leaders decided to forfeit.

Metallic Monarchy Attack

MM attack

Following the successful attack on DreamPxls, DreamPxls leaders decided to grief the Metallic Monarchy, a Chromatic Empire vassal led by Nizrab. This broke DreamPxls' agreement with ChE and had some members planning a counterattack.

This attack brought factions that were not ironic into the war from both sides. Including Frog Pixels United and Metallic Monarchy.

Chromatic Empire intervention

Later on, the Chromatic Empire joined the war and worked with Nutshack Pxls to make their own template. ChE likely only got involved due to repeated attacks on Chromatic Empire territory from left, including the main ChE art, the Metallic Monarchy and the Knight, which is part of a separate war.
