Camp Komorebi, formerly known as the Genshin Impact Chibi Clan, is a faction that creates art of various and other anime-related characters, such as Genshin Impact, Vocaloid, and more. It is lead by Mozzapple.

Origin

The original faction GICC was founded and is currently lead by Mozzapple, being inspired to create the faction after seeing multiple Genshin Impact chibi stickers on Canvas 56. He quickly defiddled a sticker of Yanfei (a suggestion from a close friend), and built it on Canvas 57. Since then, he has continued to defiddle art of various Genshin Impact characters to build onto following canvases.

Canvas 57 - Yanfei

Mozz's first defiddle, and GICC's first piece of art - the character who was suggested by a close friend of Mozz at the time, Yanfei, was modeled after an official sticker of the character posing smugly. There were some placement issues at the beginning of the canvas due to League of Factions being entrusted to find a spot for the art, however only one change was made to the placement before it was finalized.

Canvas 58 - Yae Miko / Gorou & Star Lattice

For the second art of GICC, Mozz had decided he wanted to defiddle two characters instead of just one, and additionally add a lattice behind the art that represented the four-pointed stars that Genshin Impact often portrays in its content. The characters depicted are Yae Miko and Gorou, known in the game for having a rivalry-like relationship and contrasting personalities. This art caused a bit of trouble, as the larger size made construction end up being significantly slower than the previous canvas. There was also a minor dispute between GICC and Orange Gang due to the lattice, which ended up being resolved relatively quickly.

Canvas 59 - Venti & Apple Lattice

After the difficulties with the previous canvas, it was decided that only one character would be made to scale back a bit now that the faction had a better estimate of the placing power they had. The character in the art - Venti - is known to enjoy apples quite a bit, which became the inspiration for the lattice that would make a name for itself. The Apple Lattice ended up becoming quite large, causing diplomatic talks to take place between GICC and Chromatic Empire, which was settled quickly with some of the apples near the border of the lattice being colored to represent the Chromatic Empire's Imperial Subjects.

Canvas 60 - Mona

This canvas was the canvas of the Space Collab, which GICC was apart of. Due to the small size of the collab, only one character was drawn once again. The Apple Lattice from c59 was recreated below the collab art, above the Teal Kingdom's background as it had gotten quite popular from the previous canvas. The art was quickly finished, and the lattice was blocked off soon after it was started.

Canvas 60a - Qiqi

When this canvas was announced, it was incorrectly announced as "c60b", leading many pxls users to believe that the canvas would be much smaller than it ended up being - causing Mozz to create a much smaller art piece than normal. When the canvas was revealed, it was decided that the small art would stay and a lattice representing GICC would be built behind Frog Pixels United's art.

Canvas 61 - Beidou / Kazuha & Water Lattice

The fifth art of GICC featured two characters, much like the art from c58, who are known in the game to be acquainted with one another. During the beginning of the canvas, an unknown flag was drawn to the right of Kazuha, which was replaced with a trans flag and added to the official template. Due to an unfinished artwork overlapping the GICC art, the lattice was extended upwards to cover it. Near the end of the canvas, the art began to be griefed quite heavily, which was patched by the help of LenEnjoyer and defensiveLobster.

Canvas 65 - CK rebrand + CWD Miku / Jem Square

During this canvas is when GICC rebranded into Camp Komorebi, in which a collaborative piece called "the Jem Square" featuring CK, Temriel, Fruity, Roaka, WindySpoon, and Jenkins was created. Each participant designed their own art, and Mozzapple designed the background. CK's art was based off of the thumbnail art of Pinocchio-p's song Common World Domination ft. Hatsune Miku. This piece was often griefed by AMQ13642, however MikuAM and the members of the Jem Square along with a few others often helped patch said griefs.
