The Genshin Impact Chibi Clan, or GICC, is a faction that creates art based off of official Genshin Impact stickers and other Genshin-related art. It is lead by Mozzapple and co-owned by WindySpoon.

Origin

GICC was founded and is currently lead by Mozzapple, being inspired to create the faction after seeing multiple Genshin Impact chibi stickers on Canvas 56. He quickly defiddled a sticker of Yanfei (a suggestion from a close friend), and built it on Canvas 57. Since then, he has continued to defiddle art of various Genshin Impact characters to build onto following canvases.

Mozz's first defiddle, and GICC's first piece of art - the character who was suggested by a close friend of Mozz at the time, Yanfei, was modeled after an official sticker of the character posing smugly. For the second art of GICC, Mozz had decided he wanted to defiddle two characters instead of just one, and additionally add a lattice behind the art that represented the four-pointed stars that Genshin Impact often portrays in its content. The characters depicted are Yae Miko and Gorou, known in the game for having a rivalry-like relationship and contrasting personalities. This art caused a bit of trouble, as the larger size made construction end up being significantly slower than the previous canvas. There was also a minor dispute between GICC and Orange Gang due to the lattice, which ended up being resolved relatively quickly.

Canv

After the difficulties with the previous canvas, it was decided that only one character would be made to scale back a bit now that the faction had a better estimate of the placing power they had. The character in the art - Venti - is known to enjoy apples quite a bit, which became the inspiration for the lattice that would make a name for itself. The Apple Lattice ended up becoming quite large, causing diplomatic talks to take place between GICC and Chromatic Empire, which was settled quickly with some of the apples near the border of the lattice being colored to represent the Chromatic Empire's Imperial Subjects.

Canvas 60

This canvas was the canvas of the Space Collab, which GICC was apart of. Due to the small size of the collab, only one character was drawn once again. The Apple Lattice from c59 was recreated below the collab art, above the Teal Kingdom's background as it had gotten quite popular from the previous canvas. The art was quickly finished, and the lattice was blocked off soon after it was started.

Canvas 60a

When this canvas was announced, it was incorrectly announced as "c60b", leading many pxls users to believe that the canvas would be much smaller than it ended up being - causing Mozz to create a much smaller art piece than normal. When the canvas was revealed, it was decided that the small art would stay and a lattice representing GICC would be built behind Frog Pixels United's art.
