TheWaffleLord (Waffle) is a former moderator for Pxls that joined on Canvas 10, is the leader of the factions ManePxls and Global Template, and co-leads the Pxls wiki alongside Liam.

History

Discovering Pxls

I first found out about Pxls very shortly after I first learned about r/place when I watched this video made by LittleshyFiM showcasing what the brony community built on r/place.

I was disappointed that I wasn't able to take part in the event, so I went looking for clones of r/place and stumbled upon pxls.space.

Canvas 10

The first thing I did after creating a Pxls account on canvas 10 was heading to the Pxls subreddit and finding a post made by someone wanting to start a void in the bottom left on the canvas, which I helped by placing about 20 pixels before moving on. I then helped make grylical's checkerboard pattern which later got destroyed. After that, I helped with various projects until the canvas reset.

Nearing the end of the canvas, I helped some bronies in the pxls.space Discord server build the word "HORSES" on the large art piece commemorating The New Pixel Axis at the bottom of the canvas.

Canvas 11

Shortly before the canvas reset, I looked through various messages in the #plans channel in the Pxls Discord to find a project I could help with once canvas 11 began. I narrowed it down to two choices: Doki Doki Pxls Club or Team PXLS. I ended up choosing Team PXLS and helped make their art during canvas 11.

Midway through the canvas, I joined the ManePxls Discord server and helped them make their art and lattice until the end of the canvas.

I helped users with various projects.

I helped ManePxls, Avogadro, Team PXLS, and several other projects/factions.

This canvas was the first time I built something of my own on Pxls, an ego in the shape of a waffle.

Canvas 14

I built my first solo art piece, the :rooHappy: emote from the Twitch streamer AdmiralBahroo.

Like the previous several canvases, I helped ManePxls make their art. However, this is especially notable for this canvas, as this was the biggest area ManePxls ever claimed on its entire lifespan on Pxls... at least up until canvas 71, which was 5 years later, when many members of the r/place Bronies Discord came over to help ManePxls and grew their numbers massively.

I helped squiddies by making many updates to the global template which was previous only handled by him, and I would continue to make updates to the global template all the way to canvas 50 where I finally burned out from making them.
