The Blue Empire (TBE or BE) is a recurring faction hosted by the pxls user Temriel, and has appeared over 4 different canvases. Not to be confused with Navy Blue Grand Monarchy.
History
2019
Canvas 28
It all started a few days after Temriel joined the site, as his first few days would consist of him placing blue in the bottom right of the canvas from time to time, with the Empire being launched officially a few days later. This would later gain a lot of traction, as the discord server would reach almost 40 members in just a week or two, however the number of active members was less than that.
Canvas 30
After the main art piece made by the Second Pixel Axis was finished, Temriel decided to once again revive the concept of a blue background faction, but this time starting to the left of SPA's main artwork. This would prove to be the smallest iteration TBE would make, as it was solely placed on by Temriel in the last bits of the canvas.
Canvas 30a
The Empire's appearance on this Christmas canvas was not very official, but as Temriel did only place blue in a specific pattern, it could be considered a lattice faction for this bit in it's history. However, Temriel disagrees, and says that it was still the Blue Empire, not a "pathetic lattice faction, we have standards" (direct quote from him).
