The Nom Reset War was a conflict that took place during Canvas 82 on September 3rd between the Nom Collab(Neuro's osu! market) and a number of smaller factions following the "Sinder's shirt raid" starting approximately 12 hours before the canvas reset to C83.

Origin

A number of factions formed a coalition to "fix Sinder's shirt" with a simple template of light grey(1) pixels. The raiders targeted a suggestive art on the Nom collab's template in order to cover suggestive areas. Initially announced as an effort to protect minors, many factions (as well as the Nom collab itself) would treat this late-canvas effort as a large scale attack, garnering over 45 participants at its peak. Neuro-sama's Swarm and many other members of Nom treated this as their breaking point due to previous passive aggressive comments and hostile relations in Pxls chat throughout the canvas. As a result, the raid was treated as an opportunity to retaliate against the raiding factions. What was originally planned as a one-hour time limited retaliation quickly spiraled into hours, resulting in late-canvas damage to many templates of participating factions, including Cell Lattice, GRID, and Turkiye.

Under Swarm Council's orders, griefing ended 5 hours before the canvas reset. Through diplomatic action taken by greenwizard and the Swarm Council, Neuro-sama's Swarm aided in repairing their grief on the major components of Cell Lattice.
