Deutsche Union was a German faction created on Canvas 29. Unlike the Deutscher Bund faction, it had nothing to do with the original German Empire besides retaining some of its former members.
On Canvas 29 it held back a Portuguese Invasion and made an non-aggression pact with them. It was then able to gain some more territory.
The theme of the faction was later changed from an exclusively German focus to an HRE one, in order to also represent Swiss and Austrian members.
Deutsche Union became officially allied with Portugal and, along with that faction and others, formed the Second Pixel Axis.
