After the explosive popularity of wplace.live, several members of the Pxls community, from regular users to staff members, decided to make their own artwork on the platform. These artworks depicted pxls.space itself and other defiddles created by its users. The pxls.space "core" resides in Washington D.C., United States, where users have made a pxls.space logo surrounded by Green Lattice.

Some notable creations by the Pxls community include; dia's artwork in Texas, United States, the so-called "Enby Road" by Distance near Perth, Australia, the massive area of My Little Pony art in Pretoria, South Africa spearheaded by ManePxls, Selio's defiddles in Colorado, United States, SkrillyD's Pxls logo and associated Green Lattice in Göteborg, Sweden, and Temriel's mission to make a Pxls logo in every major city in Sweden.

Wplace, sometimes written as wplace.live or just wplace, is a clone of Reddit's r/place experiment, much like Pxls itself. The site features pay-to-win elements, a 31 colour palette (32 if you include transparency) with 32 unlockable "premium" colours.
