There was a small battle on Canvas 46 between Rasputin’s Plaid lattice (Corner Gang's background, who had no involvement in the conflict) and Kevin's Yellow Lattice.
Timeline
First Aggression
Rasputin decided to push the Plaid-Corner Lattice onto Kevin’s Yellow Lattice territory, deeming it ugly and following a plan of filling the area with plaid. Some contact was made between the two sides, with Rasputin refusing to leave and Kevin threatening that if he did not, Kevin’s lattice would wipe out the Plaid lattice. A brief period into the fighting, Kevin called for help from the LOF to mediate the conflict, but this was unsuccessful. Later other users joined in the defense of Yellow Lattice, such as Titeiiko, who made the choice to intervene with a faction called the Titeist Church.
Shotgun Push
As more pro-Yellow Lattice users joined the fight yet it stayed at stalemate, Rasputin was contacted by Kevin and Titeiiko for diplomacy.
"Blaze of Glory"
Negotiations ultimately failed, with Rasputin deciding to go out in a “blaze of glory” rather than continue with negotiations.
This resulted in a short “official” war. However, numbers were in the yellow and black lattice’s favor, and a second attempt at diplomacy was made. In the end, both parties settled on apologies and a type of combined lattice, which received help from both sides of the conflict.
Peace terms
Kevin:
- Apologize for threatening the Plaid-Corner lattice.
- Agree upon and accept a collaborative lattice design for the territory.
Rasputin:
- Agree upon and accept a collaborative lattice design for the territory.
