A '''canvas invasion''' is a type of war where a large [[faction]] or group of people attempts to forcibly occupy as much of the Pxls canvas as possible, typically destroying most art along the way. Some of these invasions have been smaller than others. As of [[Canvas 44]], no such invasion has been entirely successful in occupying the majority of the Pxls canvas (51% of placeable pixels or more) except for the [[Third 2ch Invasion]] on [[Canvas 18]].
