The Irish–Bahamian War was a minor war fought between Bahamaland and the Irish Republic faction on Canvas 35.

Prelude

The YOIB–Bahamaland conflict at the start of Canvas 35 forced Bahamaland to relocate. They chose to relocate over an Irish flag, unaware that it was being built by their ally, the Irish Republic. Bahamaland moved to an area that did not cover the Irish Republic, but the relationship between the two factions was nonetheless damaged. Tensions continued, leading the Irish Republic sent an alt account to spy on the Bahamian Discord server. Users wearing the Irish Republic tag also began griefing the relocated Bahamian territory, but Irish leadership claimed they were rogues. In fact, it was revealed that the users griefing Bahamaland were actually key figures of the Irish Republic faction. This caused the alliance between the two groups to break down completely, prompting pineApple to declare war on Ireland.

The war

Bahamaland launched a severe counterattack against the Irish flag. They were supported by volunteers from Bulgaria Pxls (ioanBG) and Tea N' Tea, two factions that had recently allied with Bahamaland. The Bahamian side successfully covered the flag, but spared the "cultural works" of the Irish faction. They were griefed many times during and after the war but these attacks were individually suppressed in a matter of minutes. The Irish Republic quickly collapsed and split apart into the New Irish Republic and European Union Pxls factions, both microfactions with a handful of members each.

European Union Pxls attempted to renew the war by attacking a Bahamian sign with the EU symbol, but they were beaten back and a peace deal was finally reached with them. Bahamaland allowed the EU faction to build many national flags around their sign.
