Zombie812 is a pxls user.

History

Canvas 56

Zombie812 participated in the creation of Star Wars art on r/place 2022 as a member of The Galactic Republic's discord server. At the request of server members, he and various other members of that server joined pxls.space to make Star Wars-related art. He stopped after placing a few hundred pixels.

Zombie812 participated in The Galactic Republic's timelapse project.

Canvas 57

He continued placing for The Galactic Republic, but also branched out to other factions' art. He worked on PokePxls' section of the Fish Collab, and contributed a relatively substantial amount of pixels to Smol Dumb Dragon's art. This was the first canvas in which he placed more than 1,000 pixels.

Canvas 58

Zombie812 placed for the Video Game Village collaboration, which involved both The Galactic Republic and PokePxls in one project. He also placed for Smol Dumb Dragon's art.

For the first time, Zombie812 branched out to other non-faction-related and solo projects. Notably, he placed for the original Sylveon artwork, which was quickly raided by several veteran users with the "No Horny" nun artwork. He did manage to build the Hoopa art right above it, which was his first attempt at a solo project and at defiddling. He also placed a collection of characters' sprites who were voiced by the late Billy Kametz as a memorial piece. Around the canvas, he also placed sprites of Chrom from Fire Emblem: Awakening, Getter Robo, and a miniature fiddled Heavy from Team Fortress 2. He also placed a few pixels on the "r/FurryPxlsSpace!" art, started by Sohiimfine. This would later evolve into the Principality of FURU Pxls.

This was the first canvas in which he placed more than 10,000 pixels.

Canvas 59

Zombie812 attempted his first large solo project this canvas. The project was a sprite rip from the video game Super Robot Wars Alpha of the character Kamille Bidan, from the anime Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam. With minor help from others who acquired the template from Clueless's template list, it was successfully finished. Inspired by his accomplishment, he later changed his profile picture to the character.

He also contributed to the Walter White art, the FURU Pxls art, and Femboy Café's art, among others.

This was the first canvas in which he placed more than 20,000 pixels.

Canvas 60

Zombie812's solo projects this canvas included various furry-related artworks, half of which were positioned next to FURU Pxls's core artwork.

His non-furry projects include Eva-00 from Neon Genesis Evangelion and Daisuke Jigen from Lupin III, the latter of which was a tribute to the retiring voice actor Kiyoshi Kobayashi, who had voiced the character for 52 years.

He also placed miscellaneous Fire Emblem-related sprites, a Cinderace, and helped clean up the Eevee sprite in the final hours of the canvas.

Canvas 60a

Zombie812 placed for FURU Pxls and PokePxls. He also placed the Mario art in the bottom left corner.

He was notably dismayed by the community's selective tolerance for fiddled artwork and lack of respect for established claims.

Canvas 61

Zombie812 contributed majorly to PokePxls' template. He also helped establish FURU Pxls's outline of their art, of which the total pixel count was almost 30,000.

He also placed for the "Bobby Sauce" art, and his own Amuro Ray sprite directly above it, among other projects.

Canvas 62

On this canvas, Zombie812 created his first large-scale project defiddled from a non-pixel art source. This was the Annoying Riolu, located next to Gura's Spookymarket, originally illustrated by AdvosArt.

Notably, he also populated the canvas with an obscene amount of small sprites. These include Eirika, Tiki, Lyn, Lucius, Marth, Roy, Lissa, a revenant, Nino, Ephraim, and Lilina all from the Fire Emblem franchise. He also created the Lopunny, the Goobysart autism/tbh creature, Ryoma Nagare from Getter Robo, Eva 00 from Neon Genesis Evangelion, and various parts of FURU's projects.

Canvas 63

On this canvas, Zombie812 attempted to create a goofy MS Paint artwork of a scrunkly cat by the artist Angelface. After being completely finished, members of the faction x190, who build neighboring art, raided the cat with their own pixel art of Tinkaton from Pokemon. In desperation, Zombie812 asked in the public discord why the attack had occurred, prompting x190 to start spamming the channel with unrelated memes. When contacted directly, the only reason the members gave was that it was ugly, and when asked how to prevent this from happening again, Zombie812 was advised to not place next to x190. With his motivation lost, he requested that no one help defend the art. Notably, the artwork they replaced the cat with would've been able to fit right above it. This sudden, unprompted attack gave Zombie812 nightmares and anxiety related to the incident for months to come.

Despite this, he continued placing for both others' artworks and his own projects. In the last few hours of the canvas, while sleeping, three of his smaller arts were destroyed by Schizophrenia's background placers.

Canvas 64

On this canvas, he contributed most of his pixels to PokePxls, FURU Pxls, and Dancing H.

He also created three medium-sized solo arts. One was the Pogodemon meme, based on the fusion between the Pog emote, and the Cacodemon from Doom. Another was the Umbreon placed above the PokePxls faction's art. This piece turned out to be controversial because of its flat Purple color. It was reduced from a pixel art piece created by a foreign Twitter artist that privated and subsequently deleted their account. With help from others, the palette was later adjusted and the Umbreon was completed with the correct colors.

In addition, there was also art of Punchy from Animal Crossing which also required fixing due to the art being reduced from a compressed image, resulting in incorrect colors despite a correct scale.

At one point, he helped with an artwork by the user Jiro, but stopped immediately upon realizing that Jiro was a member of x190.

Canvas 64a

This is the only canvas in which he placed less than 100 pixels.
