The Miku Monarchy is a faction that was started as a one-person faction by TheBestYouHaveEverSeen at the during of Canvas 55, and became a full faction the following canvas with the help of eve as the co-founder.

"MikuAM"

The faction is nicknamed "MikuAM", as the faction was called "Miku and More" before it joined the Chromatic Empire, and that was shortened to "MikuAM" for the Discord invite that used to be built under every art until Canvas 63.

Miku, Bobby, The Face and Mikuddy together

Miku (she/her)

Built Canvas 55, Miku is of course considered a mascot, as it was the start of the Miku Monarchy on Pxls.

Bobby (he/him)

Starting Canvas 56, the user Fluffacorn helped Miku and More significantly in it's early days, and always insisted on making a "Bobby" on top of the art. Unfortunately he lost access to pxls due to what is suspected to be a shadowban, and Bobby has been made in every canvas since to show respect! Every non-gimmick canvas since Canvas 56 has had a Bobby, and the Miku Monarchy hopes to keep this tradition going on for as long as possible, with the goal of making Bobby a unique record on Pxls. Currently, they have been built in more consecutive canvases than the NBGM Buddy.

The Face (he/him)

During Canvas 59, a face was made during on a stickman figure quickly became an a joke within Miku Monarchy and IWBTG Pxls's communities. The GSm Sunray Trolling conflict, where GSm placed a Dinosour Gura on top of the collab art, and IWBTG then placed a "The Face" over it, perpetuated this, and most people know "The Face" from it's version pasted ontop of the Dinosour Gura.

Mikuddy (she/her)

A Miku version of the Navy Blue Grand Monarchy's "buddy", it's common for Chromatic Empire affiliated factions to have their own buddys. Mikuddy was originally made as a joke in the Metallic Monarchy discord server, before Miku Monarchy had joined the Chromatic Empire, and is now one of the most beloved Buddys, however early reception of Mikuddy was not good:

However, looks are not everything!! And some people simply needed to learn to love Mikuddy. Mikuddy now has her own character.ai, Discord bot (going public soon), expressive Discord emotes, and Operating System! Most Pxls users love Mikuddy, and it shows that not all beauty is the same.

In the Miku Monarchy canon, these four are considered siblings!

History

This solo art from TheBestYouHaveEverSeen is the first Miku and More art, and was used for the Discord server icon until Canvas 61, when it was replaced with Mikuddy.

This is Miku and More's first full faction art and it's a simple pixel art of Hatsune Miku. This art set the foundation for all of MikuAM's future art with the "Bobby" on top of Miku, and the discord.io link becoming part of most future art too.

The art for this canvas was made by eve, with a largely improved version being made by tasakurain. This was the first time Miku and More made art based on a song, which is now pretty common. The art for this canvas was based on the song "Lagtrain" which can be listened to below.

The art for this canvas was made by eve, and is probably one of the worst arts used for Miku and More (sorry!). During this canvas, MikuAM had to move several times and was struggling in terms of space. In the end, they found space thanks to Trollge Confederacy moving their discord invite to make space. This art was based on the song "Tõryansé" which can be listened to below.

The art for this canvas was found and defiddled by TheBestYouHaveEverSeen, and was not based on any song, and instead focused towards having a lattice. Pride flags were later added to the art by eve. In this canvas Miku and More was next to IWBTG Pxls, Zim Art, and Genshin Impact Chibi Clan, these arts being next to eachother is what caused the IWBTG Pxls collab on next canvas and even the Space Collab the canvas after.

Canvas 59

The art for this canvas was made by aliceNobodi and was a collaboration between MikuAM and IWBTG Pxls. The art is based of the I wanna be the guy (IWBTG) fangame, I wanna be the Lovetrap, which features Hatsune Miku, and the song "The End/Disappearence of Hatsune Miku" which can be listened to below. During this canvas, a face was built onto the stickman while the art was still in progress, it was later dubbed "the face" and was often said with itallics.

GSm "sunray trolling"

This was Miku and More's first conflict, and was handled terribly. During this canvas, Gura's Supermarket was going around the various sunrays, and pasting Gura's Supermarket art ontop of people's art. After attacking IWBTG pxls and MikuAM, a mini-conflict started (see: GSm "sunray trolling").

In this canvas, MikuAM was part of the Space Collab organized by aliceNobodi and ceadog. The MikuAM portion of the collab was made by eve and was themed around the song 1year, as suggested by aliceNobodi. The song can be listened to below. MikuAM was also involved in the Space Collab Incident this canvas.

Involvement in Super Serious Pixel Group

After Canvas 60, aliceNobodi started a group similar to League of Factions for Space Collab factions called Super Serious Pixel Group. MikuAM was one of the first factions to join, though they did not stay there for that long.

In this canvas, MikuAM held a vote for which art to make. The winning art 'Empty' Miku from the popular mobile game Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage and was defiddled by eve. At first MikuAM struggled heavily with this canvas due to the Crucible War taking spotlight over everything else, lack of organization, and a template being put in a rushed location. Though after eve made an improved template and called for help basically everywhere in and outside of pxls, MikuAM finished in record time and was able to make a lattice. The design was heavily inspired by Canvas 56a's art.

x190-SSPG conflict

There was a X190–SSPG conflict, in which MikuAM placers got pinged to help Super Serious Pixel Group. After diplomatic efforts from the Chromatic Empire, TBYHES required future MikuAM members to confirm their pxls username before being verified to ensure they were not griefing x190, this relaxed later on.

This canvas's art was suggested by mozzapple and defiddled by TheBestYouHaveEverSeen and it is of the song KOISURU☆BEAM which can be listened to below. Next to the art is eve's 50k ego and TheBestYouHaveEverSeen's 25k ego is below.

The Chicanery

Miku and More was a leading figure in Super Serious Pixel Group's struggle to protect IWBTG pxls. (See: The Chicanery)

Becoming a vassal of the Chromatic Empire

Though, at the end of the canvas MikuAM was offered to become a vassal of the Chromatic Empire which offered much better protection and less arguing compared to the SSPG. MikuAM is now distancing itself from SSPG while still offering help when needed, and will, from now on, be part of the Chromatic Empire instead. This means MikuAM needed a "larp name" to be considered a unique vassal. So the name stayed MikuAM regardless, the "larp name" was chosen to be "Miku - A Monarchy".

This canvas's art was made (part-traced, part-selfmade) by eve and it is of the song Sinktank which can be listened to below. Since they were surrounded by Idle Slayers, Metallic Monarchy (MM) built a lattice behind the art. After helping MM, MikuAM focused on helping the Chromatic Empire.

Due to eve Pixel Request, MikuAM's co-owner and #1 placer, eve (who was called LenEnjoyer at the time) was not going to be placing for MikuAM this canvas, this led them to make a very small template near the Chromatic Empire, of the "Mikuddy". Placers could make this in their own time as the art piece was less than 1000 pixels in total. Following the "Free buddy movement" from left, Mikuddy was often given a unibrow, resulting in the ever changing text at the bottom.

This timelapse is a little incorrect due to problems with Clueless at the time.

This art was based on a very 'sus' song and is a collab with Watermelon Syndicate. This was the first full art to be built without a discord invite, since most people who were going to join had already done so. This canvas was also a collaboration with Dhilly Propaganda Pxls, which is a mini-faction & Miku and More vassal led by eve. ChE played a huge part in this canvas, with ChAP helping the art progress, and the "Network system for allies" being introduced (read: Second Imperial Reform v1a].

Another collab with Watermelon Syndicate which was now owned by eve. Art was mainly reused:

• Watermelon Lattice from Canvas 61 (By Woahdang_Jr)
• MikuAM's mascots: Bobby, Mikuddy, The Face, Canvas 55 Miku (By Fluffacorn, eve, grav, TBYHES respectively)
• A scrapped Kaito art from Canvas 64a (By eve)

This was part of ChE's large scale collab, and also marked 10 canvases since MikuAM's beginning, Canvas 55. So it made sense to make various mascots to represent the faction's history.

A small theface was made next to Low Church of Can, which is a Miku Monarchy vassal that was strongly protected. Much more info is on the Low Church of Can page.

An art of one of the biggest Miku songs at the time, '(Not) The Devil' by PinocchioP and DECO*27. It was built quicky, and without any other factions, despite being the biggest template yet! The art was designed by eve, with an improved mouth made by JLXlog, and green accessories from nimiala.

Break

After 13 [Non-gimmick] canvases of art, TheBestYouHaveEverSeen's inactivity, and Eve's boredom, the faction took a break during Canvas 68.
