The United Factions (UF), later Polussia, was a faction union led by Тiteiiko. After the UF was disbanded it was replaced with the P.U.R.F.
The UF, in its various forms, directly participated in over 20 wars and "supported" one or more sides in over 15 conflicts.
History
Beginnings
The faction first begins in Canvas 17 on 10/13/2018. UF was founded as a faction made for "peace and creating small artworks." Factions began to join the UF, growing its strength to at least 10 pixel placers.
The "Independent Proxy War"
Main article: Independent Proxy War
On 3/12/2019, the UF declared war on Neo-AFiP (created by TheGoodDog). The reasons for this war included the recent bans of of communist users from the Neo-AFiP server, which caused Titeiiko and a few others to be kicked. The war resulted in a UF victory. To resolve the conflict, the opposing sides agreed that communists had a right to be in the Neo-AFiP.
The Crusader Revolution
From 6/8 to 6/30 2019 the United Factions attempted to infiltrate the leadership of the Crusaders, hoping to puppetize it. This "revolution" took much longer than expected, particularly due to the creeping deterioration of the UF. Their efforts to gain influence in the Crusaders were ultimately a success but drama stemming from the "revolution" led to griefs on United Factions artwork.
End of MP4/Titeiiko and impact
MP4 claimed that he wanted to leave on 6/14 but before doing so he rebranded the United Factions as P.UR.F. He would eventually leave on 7/1/2019, claiming that he was not happy with the person he was.
I'm not happy with who I am. I wanted to make pxls.space a place where people can have fun. I became the one thing I sought to destroy. I am now destroyer of the canvas.
According to TheGoodDog, Titeiiko's absence was "one of the main reasons why the void fell."[1] It also led to the establishment of the Second Depressed Lattice (under StewardOtto#7074).
