The origins of :welldone: date back to September of 2022, when Twitter user @CatsHeld uploaded [https://twitter.com/CatsHeld/status/1570782224156610560 the greatest cat image of all time]. This image was discovered by Min, who unleashed it upon her friends before adding it as a sticker and emoji to their Discord server.

It was later spread to the dms of [[Temriel]] and subsequently the [[Chromatic Empire]], which lead to Steven appearing on [[Canvas 63]] after the [[Nutshack Sweep]]. For a while, there was only one welldone, but this changed after March 2023, when more welldones were produced and spread to [[Flandre]]. Initially they were all Stevens, but eventually more animals were welldoned and turned into emojis.

Thanks to Steven spreading around Pxls, he appeared on multiple canvases, listed below. If you're reading this, consider welldoneing your animals and making them into emojis.

The '''Second''' '''Hugh Mungus Raid''' was a conflict against [[Avery]] throughout [[Canvas 73]]. Despite being called the Second ''Hugh Mungus'' Raid, Hugh Mungus himself was nowhere to be seen on the template. The name is a callback to the [[Hugh Mungus Raid|an earlier raid against Avery]] on [[Canvas 68]].

The raid was initially attempted extremely early into the canvas by [[left]], who with the help of some friends built a frog in the area that the art was being outlined. This attack failed, and Avery's template continued to exist for around roughly 2 weeks. On October 6th, 2023 a raid combining several small arts into a collab was successfully pulled off. The template was drastically increased for the second attack in order to cover almost the entirety of Avery's art. As of writing there have been no counterattacks by Avery or her allies.

A raid on the [[Catboy Castle|Catboy Cafe]] was briefly considered by left and Min due to Firenze's frequent defense's of Avery's actions but was scrapped when they were informed it was protected by the [[Chromatic Empire]]. However, CBC was still raided by independent griefers a few days later for other reasons and the art was quickly abandoned.

== Timeline? ==
The raid began around May 28th 2023, when the template was produced out of nowhere by Jen as a joke. Somehow it gained traction, largely due to help from Falkenmond, [[left]], [[_Etta]] and [[reissecup]]. Initially the raid was only meant to cover up the VGA portion of the template, with users such as [[ToeBeans]] calling for it to remain untouched, but as more and more members joined in to destroy their art CBC was inevitably covered up too.

The raid took roughly 4 days to finish. Initially VGA fought back hard with help from [[hazard12100]] as only Min and Falk were placing for Hugh, but as time went on the VGA members as well as hazard slowly gave up as it was evident that it would all be for nothing. Since the raid, Avery has been missing in action on Pxls, for some reason apologizing to [[Fruity]] of all people (who wasn't involved as she was taking a break after hitting 1 million pixels at the time) and holding off on making art for the foreseeable future out of fear of a second raid.

After [[Hoyo Meal]], [[Min]] came up with the idea of deploying tiny McGinnis turrets (from Deadlock) all over the canvas on multiple factions' artworks. With the help of the rest of the fools, turrets were successfully deployed on multiple artworks, mainly work-in-progress ones.

Attempts were made to place turrets on larger factions' templates, but the plans were foiled by the following depressing or otherwise humorous reasons:

[[Osu!|Osu]] - [[wikipedia:Bot|Grief alerts]] immediately ruined everything. SvN realised they aren't as unemployed as they initially thought they were.

[[ManePxls]] - Decent progress was made over their logo, but SvN was eventually outnumbered. They tried to negotiate to get the turret placed for just a moment in order to 'feel better about themselves', but ManePxls refused. SvN cried themselves to sleep that night.

Cuttlefresh's template - SvN successfully placed the turret, but [[Green Lattice]] began fighting back right as it was close to completion. SvN fought hard and managed to get the turret fully placed, grabbing a screenshot seconds before it was dismantled.

Eezu's (or someone else's, correct me if I'm wrong) art - A turret was fully built, but SvN didn't fight to keep it there after getting their screenshot. Min contributed approximately 1 pixel to help repair.

Following the turret placement over Cuttlefresh's art, TheMatsValk conveniently ignored SvN's chat messages that gave away the fact the grief wasn't something they were going to fight for. The moment the turret was complete and the screenshot was taken, SvN's fools ''immediately left the scene''. Mats, however, started voiding SvN's tag for about an hour, quitting when the rest of the crew (as well as [[Lana]]) caught wind of what was going on.

The Rose Khanate did not make a preclaim for Canvas 94 or claim a spot for their art on reset day, [[Lana]] instead deciding to seize someone else's spot after the canvas was already underway. She later decided on Ukraine Pxls as a target, leading to a brief but intense war over their area of the canvas. The war began on October 4, with the initial raid being largely repelled. The Khanate continued raiding on the 5th and 6th. Finally, on the third day of fighting, the raiders made significant enough progress for Ukraine Pxls's leaders to abandon their art. Despite this, volunteers from [[Squirrel Scouts]] continued to fight on the 7th, but were ultimately repelled with the help of volunteers from [[SvN]] and the Pxls chat.
